How to achieve model like render?

I'm using models to represent an apparel brand and need to figure out how to get renders that look real and not plastic. I need lighting that is natural white like a photo studio that is good from head to toe without many shadows and Model skin that doesn't have so much make up. Nice clean look is what I need to accomplish.

I would start with lighting. Colm Jackson's PRO-Studio HDR Lighting System is my "go to" set when I want to do a photoshoot / studio type render. The lighting is subtle, it comes with options for different lighting tones and backgrounds, and it's simple to apply. He also has PRO-Studio HDR Lighting System Vol. 2 and PRO-Studio HDR Lighting System Vol. 3 as well as Hi-Key Studio Iray which are similar sets with different options.

Then you'll want to focus on skins. Your options are to learn about how skin surfaces work in Iray or to use a shortcut tool like...

Skin Builder 8 for Genesis 8 Females - Let's you build skins layer by layer, selecting various maps and adjustments.
Altern8 - Skin Shader System for Genesis 8 Females - Provides some very good "out of the box" settings for some of the most popular G8F character skins (which you must also own)
Ultimate Iray Skin Manager - Presents a (somehwat) simplified interface for adjusting the skin settings on your model. Really nice as the Skin Shading Bundle, which includes an excellent tutorial on how Iray skin surfaces work.

I own all 3 and alternate between them based on what my goals are for the character I'm working with.

It works with G8, and is probably still my preferred shader.
