Sickening Shopping Cart Bug

Daz website often thinks you're logged in when you're not.  Why they don't fix that is beyond me.

Unfortunately, I was in that state and added something to my shopping cart.  But of course you can't check out.  I logged in.  But now my shopping cart is empty.  But you cannot re-add that item from the store since it thinks you have that in your empty cart.

Zapped all history, cookies, local storage for any domain with 'daz' in the name.  Restarted browser.  Twice.  No luck.  It's as if Daz is caching this bad state on their server end.

Add something to the cart (you can remove it later), that will fix the issue.

  • Thanks, Ati.  I just stumbled upon that workaround as well with trial-and-error.   But for the love of all Daz.. fix this bug!

It's simple.   Always log in from the front page of the site,  that syncs the two log ins.

If you log in on the forum then you won't be logged in on the store  and vice versa.

The two parts of the site are driven by 2 different softwares, and the front page is the only place to log in to both simultaneouisly.

And don't totally trust the blue icon by the shopping cart icon, clickk on it to make sure that you are fully logged in.

  • What? Why make bogus excuses for Daz? They should fix the issue. Period.

No bogus excuses,  simply fact.     If your log ins are not fully sychronised it can confuse the software, which is why you then need to help it along.  It is not  a major bug and as you have found out, most regular forum members can tell you how to get round it.
