Bright Lights Scene

I am hoping to recreate an image, similar to a scene from WRATH OF KHAN as well as recreating the strange white warp effect from the new Star Trek movies.

How do I do either of these images in DAZ Studio ?

    For the first, back light (that is put the main lights behind the figure) and put a cube with ubeVolume applied around the scene (but your camera must be outside the cube). As for the warp effect, I haven't seen the new films but I doubt you could do it directly in DS.
