Strange dots and more on renders

Ok... I am a little bit ashamed about this... I render now for so many years but I don't find out, what I do wrong if I get this dots in my renders... sometimes it works to save the scene, reopen and render again... sometimes not... I tried to change the render settings...but mostly that makes all worse :(
Sometimes I try to reset render settings but that works not every time... sometimes I render 2 or 3 pics and then cut the dots out what is working cause they are often at different places from render to render... most on skin and hair...
but sometimes, if I render again skin comes out.....green!!!!
Do you have any tip for me to avoid these dots? Is it light? Is it render settings?

Here the green error...
It's from the shadow-mapped lighting.. if you set the lights to raytracing, they will disappear :)
Thank you sooooo much, Jack!!!
It works and I am impressed by the results.... I allways use deep shadow map and would never thought this is what causes the dots and green skin error....
Thank you so much for fast and competent help!!! :)
I occasionally get the same issue with the dots. However, they persist even when switching over to raytraced shadows. Fortunately, they are not consistent. If I do a couple renders, I can merge the two images together into a single clean one. Lighting complexity seems to contribute to the issue.
The dots are caused by having a mix of deep shadow maps and ray-traced shadows. make sure you either have one set or the other. I prefer ray-traced. The green could be ambient or specular color check them to see if you have anything colored green.
