Dforce tips for clothing in motion?

Could someone perhaps point me to any tutorials that explain how to get single frame renders with dForce clothing in motion (like a skirt during a twirl, still moving after the character itself has reached a new position)? I can't really remember how it's done and I'm not having any luck watching the usual dForce tutorials. If you also happen to know of any very basic ones that show how to make apply dForce physics to a non-dForce item, I'd appreciate links to those as well for reference.

Thanks in advance.

  • Basically what you do is animate the motion and just render the final frame. There's a tutorial on how to slide a figure onto a horse which details how to do it, the concept is the same even if the end result is different, in a thread in the forum here.

Do you have a link to that tutorial?

This link takes you to the index for a large number of example tutorials on dForce. You may find some relevant ones there.
