    There are already a number of items I've wishlisted through the year for this sale that I missed getting because there was no clear way to see that it was their day (unlike in previous PA sales when you could search the wishlist page for 50% each day), so I hope so too! But only if the catch-up is a true 50%-off -- I won't be penalized for DAZ's "awkward" sales design.

    Hey, a mid-month catch-up sale! (A bit early for mid-month, but why not? ;-) ) And the discounts are showing up in my wishlist so I can search it for "50%" -- thanks DAZ!

    I could be wrong, but they were never a featured PA. The catch-up sale includes only PA's that have been featured this month.

    Nope, I get paid every other Friday -- but I'm not sure how many of us have our 3D buying strictly tied to our paydates. I usually buy my DAZ budget in gift certificates every month, and if that runs out too soon I'll buy the next one on my credit card (no interest if I pay it off fast enough, so I can buy a DAZ-gc on Wednsday or Thursday, and then transfer money to pay the credit card once my direct deposit's in).

    That having been said, the actual midpoint of a thirty-day sale would be day 15, which is Friday -- happy as I am that DAZ used yesterday as proof-of-concept on flat-50%-off vs stack-to-50%-off (as evidenced by today's improved sale structure), it'd make sense to extend the catch-up through Friday . . . except that a lot of people being paid tomorrow won't have their deposit cleared till Monday, so I'm not sure how effective it'll be paydate-wise.

    They do say that hindsight is 20/20, but now you can see why savvy people put their 3D spendng money into store credit each month. Buy yourself a GC for the amount you can spare each month, and then save some of it for special occasion sales like this months PA sale.

    OK as a new member, you haven't seen any of this before, but it does happen every year. :coolsmirk:

    I always buy a GC each month, but it really doesn't last far when there is sales and such. And there were items that came out before the PA sale started, that I had some really good use for.

    Either way, I just hope I might be lucky and the catch up sale do include all artist, as I might be able to put some more into store credit when this payment comes. I also might add, that I always tend to miss the discounted GC's too due to wrong time in the month or because I bought a GC a day or two before there comes a discount for them, I just live in the wrong country I guess :)

    And I know from experience that even when I do Try to save up, I tend to fail a bit with that *sheepish look* But I do try :)

    So this is interesting... trying to buy one of the new on sale today PA items.. the vender page shows 30% off, if I'm not logged in and I go to the product page it says 30% off. If I log in (I have plat club) it goes back to full price. I even tried adding it to my cart and going almost completely through checkout and it never gave the 30% off. I guess I'll try again tomorrow when I wake up and hope it's fixed.
