The bad boy poses for the motorcycle don't seem to work. When I apply the pose for Christian or Gen 8 male, the figure doesn't move into any of the 4 poses

I thought the same, but it turns out if you parent him to the bike, then have the bike selected they work. it's weird and I don't like it, but it works.
Yeah, I just went through asking Support about that, and they said the same thing. What they really desperately need is an info icon telling you what to do; otherwise, there's absolutely no way to understand that these are hierarchical poses or what you're supposed to do. It would never have occurred to me to select the bike to move the character.
