Hi everyone and Happy 2019, as it has just ticked over to 2019 here in Australia..  And to that hope you all have a great and safe New Year..

    For me, it's just another year closer to another birthday, how depressing, LOL. To add insult to injury, I get to go a party tonghit full of my GF's friends and they are all closer to her age (30) and I am a bit older blush

    Her girl friends are actually pretty cool with the age difference, it's her guy friends than can be jerks, probably trying to hook up with her still, LOL

    No drinkin' here. It's gonna be 2019 in a little less than 45 minutes and I'm sitting here, converting clothing. LOL. Did the whole NYE parties thing when I was young, bought the t-shirt ;). I'll just listen to the rest of my redneck neighbors shooting at 12am...lolol.

    Now I can look forward to it taking 6 months until I remember to write 2019 instead of 2018 on everything. LOL

    Did I mention I like quiet? ;)

    Here's a funny thing about 2019....  tere are two iconic science fiction movies (that I know of) that were set in 2019, Bladerunner, and Akira.  We don't have replicants, and we (still!!!) don't have flying cars, but fortunately we also don't have teen-aged boys with super-psychic power losing control over that power and it taking out entire cities.  0o
