You are all more than welcome. I'm glad you had the opportunity to pick it up before it was gone smiley

Thanks for the heads up, I had no idea the leaf assets existed either so made sure to pick them up. Truly wish the Daz search function made it easier to find things like this.

    Ack!

You had to do this right now, dindya, Annsie? The Grand Entrance would have been nice to get hold of, btu I daresay it'll be gone before I can lay my hands on more monies.

    So it goes.

Long time no visit, by the way. Far too long. Should rectify that one of these days.

On the Announcement, when a PA chooses to retire something (like myself) we can ask for options etc and choose how we want to go about doing that. As a PA, this is what I chose. Every PA has to choose what works best for them though based on their circumstances or needs. smiley There isn't necessarily a right or wrong there since it really depends on why something is being retired as to what the best course of action/choice may be. I thank Daz3D for helping to coordinate with me on this and I am very glad people were able to pick the stuff up before they were gone and thank all of you who took the time to take a look. heart

Bought the second set of leaves (had the first already). Excellent ressource. Thanks again - and I hope you get enough money with this last sale for these items to finance a nice Christmas with it!

Of note for those who shop with us, in addition to this retirement, we are also looking to facelift and/or rework some of our most popular packs as skill wise we've grown a fair bit over the last few years. That said, it is a process as we have to work it in inbetween other projects. At the moment I know which packs (and one of them I've started) but I am not entirely sure how we are going to go about it exactly.

I know we've been fairly quiet on the forums for a couple years now mostly because my step father has Stage IV Esphageal Cancer and on and off I have been traveling back and forth from Ohio to Texas to help my him and my mom and then on top of that the man (Dad) who raised me though most of my childhood passed from Cancer suddenly in that same time period. Its been a fairly tough couple years and it left me pretty depressed and drained. That said the clouds are starting to lift and Im starting to feel more like myself so there is that smiley

I am sorry for our absense (or more for our quiet maybe) and I thank everyone who supported us with this Fast Grab/Retirement of some products. It is greatly appreciated heartkissheart

  • Thanks. Picked up several models. They are very nice. Why retire them? They even said Iray materials. With all the sales on Daz, I can't understand the whole retire items thing. Prayers for you and your family.

Got the Grand entrance and the both the leaf Collections and today poof! they have vanished. Thank you again for the heads up. Hope to see this thread continue in the future, as needed, and hope they make it a sticky.

Maybe they are making newer ones. Rigged ones. Ha ha ha.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Every loss is draining and depressing, but Cancer is the worst nightmare to live through and it is extremely emotionally and physically exhausting on the loved ones. The disease runs such a turbulant yet slow roller coaster ride of ups and downs, and the healing process runs like cold molasses going up a hill. My Mother died from it, as did my sister (throat cancer that spread to her lungs - non-smoker). One brother had prostate and the other colon cancer, they both survived, the latter after years of multiple surgeries. It's good that you are trying to move from under the clouds. Find something you love, something that makes you smile and fit it in if you can. Looking forward to your return to the digital world.
