dForce no longer works on RTX 2080 GPU or AMD CPU

Using both Daz main release and the BETA.. recently it just stopped working.. Could this be from a recent nVidia driver update?

Any work arounds?  Worked recently, but also know my GPU updated recently too.. so little confused.  Is there a way of forcing a reset on devices or anything?

Kinda hindering me from creating.  Thanks for any help! :)

Have you closed Daz Studio and restarted it? If you ever get an error during simulation, you have to restart to get it working again.

Revert the driver update; if it works again, then you have your answer, well... Probably.

    sometime it help,
press ans hold "Ctrl +  Shift + Win" and press B
that reset video driver, (no need to reboot)
result = your screen become black for one second and you can hear a 'bip'

if DAZ report error,  - do not 'execute' again the daz, until he totaly closed  (check task manager if daz is off) (task manager = "ctrl-shift-esc")
sometime daz need more than 30 or more second before he close completely (depend of the scene)

  • I just waited it out, eventually a new driver update dropped and the issues fixed.

I was having issues with my Oculus rift too, so maybe was just a bad update from Nvidia.  Think I'll hold off on updating so quickly next time.

Thanks for the help and tips :)
