20 unique smiles for G8F

sapatsapat Posts: 1,735

does anyone own this pack that can say how the smiles look on a character other than a default G8F face?  Like in characters other than suprmodels lying on a floatie in a pool? Just some real characters. I love the smiles, but not sure about them since they only show high end models, and the set is already kind of expensive for me...even on sale.
You know ppl like Edie and others less endowed normal folks wanna smile too.

I just used one in my lastest gallery image, but it's a model type...lol. But it looks really natural if that's what you wanted to know :). I tend not to dial things like this in the whole way and I didn't in my image, but I'll drop one on Edie quick and see how she looks :)

Cool, thanks.  Yeah on those glamour girls it's going to look fabulous with all the teeth showing.  Will wait for Edie who is on the other end of the 'pretty' specturm.

Not quite like the Surgical Beauty package. That's one of those things that you never realized was missing. Smiles are something that most of us are aware was missing.

I still don't know I'm missing it :p I know it's a bit off-topic, but can you show us what we need it for?

Same artist and currently on Featured artist sale.

It's one of those packages which someone who does illustrations and needs specific styles of *characters* will probably find a great deal of use out of. Straight pin-ups not so much, since mosty 3D characters are pretty already. But the morphs in that sst take it to the level where you aren't sure what the character looked like originally, because they've deliberately given nature what they define as "help". Sometimes it is an enhancement. Sometimes it can be scary.

And sometimes scary is what you want...

"Natural" isn't a word I would use to describe those smiles.I usually only expect to see so many teeth when something would be trying to eat me...

I agree, a few of those smiles (in the promos) look even a bit grotesque to me - most of all the one shown in the main pic. But AllenArt is right: For most expressions,100% dialing is too much. The dose makes the poison... And it is absolutely true that we don't have enough (good) smiles! So this collection goes to my wishlist.

Anyone with Smile Delight for G3F make a comparison? I like how Smile Delight had a lot of subtle smile options (less toothy/gummy).

YOIKIES!!!  Mostly Barbie doll, Blow-up doll and the last one is in drag. And and believe me....no offense to the drag queens. I've seen plenty and been to shows, and they make a lot of women want a makeover..
    ..'you gotta work it girl'.

Well, if not all, some of them are really looking good and on so many different G8F characters.

Below is an iray render of cartoonized Eva 8 with Unique Smile 20 HD.

You're welcome!  I love the anime style with the big eyes.  It works great with that smile.

Awn, thank you, guys ! I really did put a lot of effort to make these smiles!

Most of the smiles I made are inspired in some of my friends in real life ... And yeah, I have to agree some of the smiles are a bit too much, but if you change the value to a lower percentage they look great! But I did that on purpose because I wanted to people to change the value as they want and mix smiles together and have a little fun whit it .
BY THE WAY , here is a great tip , try to add all 20 smiles at 5% , you will end up with a really cute smile which is a mix of all of the 20 smiles

This is 20% of uniquesmile10HD and uniquesmile08HD , it's very subtle but it works wonderfully !

Wow, that's gorgeous!  I love the idea of mixing them all at 5%.  Will have to have a go at that combo and see how it looks!  Thanks for the tips.

I think they are great but the apparent symmetry is unnerving. It would be nice if there was a way to dial in one smile on the left & another on the right. Is that possible?

Love them all.  Soon as I get time away from dr appt I want to try them.

Pedro, would you consider making a set for the G8Male?  They need smiley love too!

AllenArt, the smile 8 really caught my attention as it's got a little bit of asymmetrical thing going on.  I like that.  Allot of folks have "crooked smiles"

do they affect the eyes and brows also? I can't quite tell on the promos - when you smile your whole face kinda moves also so I'm wondering if it's just the mouth/lip or the rest of the face.

  • xmasrosexmasrose Posts: 1,409

    Yes they do.
