I have to say this set is by far my favorite from Sloshwerks.

This is a GREATLY reduced version of the render that just finished. Didn't touch anything but the camera 4, zoomed out a slightly to catch more goodies from the desk area. You outdid yourself with this one. So glad I go it. Interior, exterior, opening door that opens properly inside the cottage. The modeling and textures are divine. The lighting is perfect and you get 6 cams set to various parts of the cottage interior. There is no exterior camera as it's more simplistic but finished outer.

I snagged this so fast I'm surprised its not a pile of rubble from hitting the cart so fast lol. It looks stunning and I can't wait to try it out. And don't forget that super cute plushie that comes with!
Me too, snapped it up so fast. Love all the little props and details. Great work
Yes. It's a beautiful set. I suspect that I'll be getting a lot of use out of it. Particularly since you can hide individual walls to get whatever camera you want into place.
It's an intense set though. It took about an hour to render the above image but it was1600X1000 pixels in size ....
I absolutely loved the Triple Moon Cottage and bought it right away. I love fantasy setting like this, and the props are awesome!
I watched Slosh building this awesome environment, he put his heart and soul into creating this spectacular product. ( it took him a LONG time to finish it to the standard we all should aspire to
)
IMHO the price is too low!
Well done, my friend!!
We were all looking forward to seeing this beauty hit the stores. Slosh always jampacks his sets with so many cool props, too.
Congrats, Slosh!
It's a fanatastic set and jumped straight into my cart without a second thought...and it's everything I'd hoped it would be, amazing props, stunning scenes, great work :)
Thank-you, everyone. It really makes all the work worth it when I get feedback like this. I was worried it might not be received well at this time, since I missed the Halloween window. I almost shelved it for a later date. I hope to do more sets like this one, and your enthusiasm has helped me to find the motivation. Cheers!
I've been having too much fun playing with the set..kept thinking I should post but with so many props and options afraid I got carried away and totally forgot until I saw this post..;)
It would have been great for Hallows, but there's always next year besides the set and props are perfect for so many other genres.
I was wondering, is an exterior in the pipeline ?
I haven't planned an exterior, no. I will think about it, though
Hope the Muse grabs and won't let you go ;)
I am so glad you did not wait to release this. Its going to be valuable as far more than just for Halloween, this will be perfect for so many fantasy and medieval scenes, and the details are just amazing!
Bought alredy. Lots of useful items in a lovely setting.
Please do, PLEASE! :-)
I just wanted to say I didn't buy it... but I was really, really tempted, even though it's Iray, and I don't use Iray. It's absolutely gorgeous, full of charm and thoughful details that instantly made me want bring to bring some characters in to play! Not a complaint in any way... just a wistful 'kudos'! :-)
Tested it out in 3DL, using RSSY converter and tweaking a few things, adding AoA ambient (and a fun familiar in the corner)
Yeah. I figured the conversion script would make it an easy enough conversion. I'm used to twiddling with things to make them sow up the way I want them.
I knew I could go through and retexture everything by hand (and I am a compulsive tweaker, believe me!) but for whatever reason, if I have even a single left-over Iray texture, my computer nearly blows up (I think it has something to do with my slightly grumpy video card). I don't own the conversion toys, so... no go. I just wanted to say how beautiful I thought it was - positive reinforcement for a wonderful piece. :-)
This is an awesome set! I have to have it.
Spmetimes an Iray texture will render in 3DL without issue. Sometimes it will just render weird. Sometimes it will bring the render to a screetching halt and just sit there without rendering or letting the render complete.
I seem to have little problem either running the converter or slapping a 3dl shader on things. Except for hair. That never seems to work well.
This is on my wishlist for the moment but I hope to take the plunge in the near future.
Cheers,
Alex.
Here's a few more images, from my Art Studio thread. Quite a lovely set!
Because of this thread, I went back and took a second look at Triple Moon Cottage, but you know what really made me hit the Add to Cart button...?
Oh, that looks really good! :)
It's in my wishlist for now, but it shall be mine! :P
Laurie
I grabbed this today
it's on sale and it's awesome
Same here. Hadn't noticed until this thread.
I already have it. Haven't used it yet, but I plan to...beautiful model. The one I don't have that I really wanted was the Creepy Old Attic and this thread reminded me. Thanks! LOL
