    Hi

Just purchased a single user F-clone licence (as its currently discounted).

Had some sucsess with Genesis 7 though it is a bit quirky, this may be due to me having a beard, bad lighting, ugly and using a webcam rather than a Kinect (plus first time).

I've played with other motion capture apps (http://ipisoft.com/) and they all usualy need a bit of trial & error (pain).

Gonna play (fall over on my face) with it a while and see what I can do with this sucker;)

Please post your results, if possible.

Since the Kinnect is discontinued, it will be interesting to see, what you can achieve, just with the webcam.

I have an old Kinnect somewhere in the junk pile I call my room, I'll see what I can do with that when (if) I dig (excavate) it out.

Does it work with Kinect first generation?

    That's what I have.

No, just checked their web page - it says Kinect V2 (Xbox One), so not for me.

Okay not there yet but improving.

I added a light on the floor as the room light is on the roof and this improved things a lot.

    Issues:

Mouth: either nuetral or smiling and not all phenomes working so lipsync is limited.

Eyes: cannot blink individual eyes and blinking both only works every other time.

Sigh, I may have to bulldozer the pile that is my room and try the Kinect.

  • F-Clone only works with bones if memory serves.

Oh, I have not noticed, that you want lipsync.

For that, there are cheaper and better solutions, like the ones for Unity.

Actualy I'm greedy, I want a one solution (silver bullet) fits all.

I guess it doesnt exist at this price.

  • Works with an HD webcam, good light and the best Daz target is Genesis 3 because it has the face bones. But it's now off the market and the website is gone for over a year now. Last version was 1.12.
