New Sale Idea

How about an annual Wish List Sale? XX% off anything in one's Wish List barring PC+ and other promotions.
The idea came while purchasing Build Your Own Bundles and other Bundle offers in the anniversary sale as I've had to accept products I have no real use for as part of those offers. I would have much preferred reduced prices on full priced items in my Wish List.

Just this past weekend, we've had a sale on EVERYTHING in the store (excluding new items and PC+), that must have covered most of your wishlist on a single weekend.
but it needs to be progressive ... buy 1 from WL --40% off
2 =50% off
3=60% off
4=70% off
5=80% off
6=90% off
7 or more ..THEY ALL FREE yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
and a 1 day warning that the sale is coming so we can put everything in our wishlists.,
but i do like the idea ... why not ?
It did of course! But, for example, 50% off single expensive items doesn't compare to a BYOB of 8 products for $2.99 or 5 for $3.99. Or for that matter the free bundles of 8 in which I found half the products I didn't want, but half I did. There were also $9.99 bundles of a set 8 products, but I didn't buy any of those due to half or more items in the bundle being unwanted. I'd rather spend that $9.99 on something in my Wish List.
Good idea!
To prevent thousands of customers putting everything in their wish list it could be a PC+ members only sale, plus it could be date stamped to what was in the list prior to the sale being advertised.
I have close to a thousand items on my wishlist, and am a PC+ member, so I certainly wouldn't mind a sale like that. :D
+1 The best idea (if DAZ reads and considers)
Oh man, I had a dream, no a nightmare that- that happened.
Only a nightmare because I woke up and didn't own half the store.
-
The closest to that was last year's March Madness [NOT this year's]. That was the best experience ever.
-
I have that dream and the endless textures one- where I'm dressing a character and every new texture I add changes the Whole outift.
LOL, the PAs would love that
Gotta admit I'm beggining to understand why PAs are getting a bit disconcerted about these constant sales after all they do have a living to earn.
I know! How about every item is at 120% sale, so PAs pay YOU 20% of the price listed for selecting their product!
After all, think of all that exposure and good will that us paying you to take our product is worth!
Finally, some common sense.
I have a simplier idea... How about just putting things on sale without all the marketing gimmicks??? It's the gimmicks that keep me buying from other companies whenever possible.... Remember an old marketing maxim.... K.I.S.S.
for sure.. I spend more time trying to figure out the best pricing combo ...
The 50% off everything sale did exactly that.
I think the part that is a bit frustrating is that, for instance, I could have purchase a DO for $1 the other day... it is now on sale for $12.95 .I tihnk 30% off. Even if it goes to 50% off ... its still not even close to the low ball deal.
A lot of products end up that way... All of the i13 items were $2.99 ... even bundles... its going to be extremely difficult to see those prices again.
If DAZ were to go to basic sales, 50 or 60% off, and not as often, overall customer satisfaction would go up, in my opinion. At least not as frustrating.
