Has Daz announced when the update will launch or maybe a timeline?

I really don't want to run a public Beta version just to use a 2080 graphics card. Is there an ETA or a common time limit for these things when they hit public beta? New to Daz.

    No, Daz doesn't give any ETA for their relases.

    If they knew it was finished and ready for relase it would be released, until it is ready they don't know when it will be (they may well have a target date, but there's no guarantee testing won't find an issue that throws it out).

    The beta is perfectly cromulent for pretty much all purposes. I got a 2080 before I realised Daz didn't have support for it yet and moved to beta to get it. The only thing you really need to be aware of is that if your libraries are in a custom location, you have to point the beta client to them. It won't load them by default.

    And you get to run multiple versions of Regular and a Beta so you can switch back and forth.

    Why not? It works fine, and independantly of release version. I've noticed renders are much slower in Beta, but beta code can be impacted in such ways.
