Odd dog house, it looks more like chicken coops I've seen. I think maybe the dog collar is actually intended to keep a rooster nearby but not really have easy access to fertilize the hens' eggs but Im not 100% certain.
Chicken and most grain eating birds in particular actually make excellent pets and are cheap on the wallet for feed and vet bills.

Chickens will eat anything. Maybe they *did* eat the dog...
Was it a "corndog"?
I would never consider a digital figure or avatar figure of any type as catfishing. We all know that's not you just an idealization. Same with our screen names.
Around here, it seems using someone else's avatar is more or a case of catfishing than using whatever image for an avatar. People get riled about that...seen it in the forums from time to time.
BTW, the eye is really my eye....well before I did some heavy photoshop magic.
....mine is kind of a likeness of me when I wake up in the morning, stretch to try and get the joints to pop into place so I actually can move (and suddenly pull a leg or foot cramp).
If you remove the sailors hat, take away most of the hair, biggen the ears a bit, add a dash of sun damage and then squint... et voila!
Mine is the main character from my webcomic. She's prettier than I am.
Shorter and lighter, as well.
Younger. Nicer. Probably smarter.
I think I'll stop there.
Too obvious.
You're definitely not a cat, but the cats in your life have trained you well. ;)
I have a talent for cat-like typing, certainyl.
Would it be better to be cats, who play with their food...or deadly dog-eating chickens, led forward to World Domination by The Rooster of Danger and Death?
Now THAT is great artwork!
But also a missed opportunity. The author should have entitled it,
"World Domination: Step One, Eliminate the Guards".
But "Where's Fido?" would have been great too!
"Nobody Here but us Chickens!" could have worked.
Agered
I must confess, I'm misleading people badly. I'm NOT a ship, and I was NOT built around 1550. Sorry...
Me? Ow no.
But you are bluey-green and translucent?

My avatar is my boat. She's my significant other, my partner in crime, the love of my life, 22 years and she still doesn't flinch when I start screaming at the screen as DS crashes to the desktop.
The chickens may take over, but I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that "the sheep shall inherit the earth"...
...I thought it was the Cockroaches. Nothing seems to do those buggers in save for fire (but that would set off the smoke alarm, make eveyrone evacuate the building, and probably get me evicted).
Did you know banana flies can be nuked?
...the one issue with using any form of nuclear eergy is the excessive collateral damage it causes. (never tried putting one in a microwave though).
I once had a photo that I've used as avatar but it was taken when I was 30 years younger and one hunk-a-hunk-a man. But now I'm a dried up toadstool so I just post my lil friend with the whip. He sort of represents me during my wild years, i.e. a little squirrelly and a bit sadistic.
Good Grief! I just realized I’ve changed mine about 7 or 8 times, I’ve been here since 2003. I usually use a render that I’ve done, and appeals to me, but that seems to change over time.
My av picture is an old corporate logo I made for a fictional ultratech R&D company from a shared-world creative-writing set of stories we used to do back in the old dial-up BBS days. We typically wrote ourselves into the stories, and in my case I wound up being the founder and owner of this made up company called Nomad Industries. It is a stylised image of the Nomad probe from Star Trek hovering in front of a trangular window, through which you can see a ringed planet. I've used that logo as my av on a lot of different webforums over the years.
On the other hand, some forums where I post under the name of my main self on Second Life, who is a sort of idealised kid character, I use an old image of that character, standing around in a room in my old TARDIS interior there, with some control panals and stuff in the background. Before I wound up becoming that persona, the character was the (fictional) adopted son of my BBS-universe self. He grew up a bit as time went along, but has since been through multiple time warps that zapped him younger again, so he's actually older than he looks. (Yeah, its been really fun RPing that character. :D )
Interestingly, I've also recreated that other self, and one other SL alt, as characters in Daz Studio using FaceGen Pro, and have used both of them in a few renders. I've never recreated my real life self there, however. If I ever do CG comics of those old BBS stories, or otherwise set in that universe, I might, though.
I change my avatar often. Sometimes, I use a render that I have done. Other times, like now, I use something that I found that strikes my fancy. My current Avatar is from the recently announced “free to use and reuse” collection from the library of Congress. Www.loc.gov. I will continue to cycle through some of that collection before returning to one of my absurd toon renders. The LOC houses the Copyright Office so I figure if they say it is free to use and reuse, that is about as safe as it is going to get.
Happy to receive recommendations for more sites with copyright safe images that can be used as avatars.
Just go to Lowe's, Home Deport or on Amazon and buy yourself a 10 lb bag of diatomaceous earth and sprinkle along all the edges of your floors by the walls. Hopefully you don't have carpet and that will make it much easier and more effective. If you have wallpapered walls that the wallpaper isn't absolutely stuck like paint to the walls, then strip that and just regular paint them. The roaches will be gone in 2 - 3 months and if you live in apartments you're liable to kill many of the neighbor's roaches too. However, given the nature of apartment complexes you'll need to periodically sweep or vacuum up the old diatomaceous earth and sprinkle more down. Get your neighbors to do likewise in the whole building and all of you will be rid of them. Best thing about it is they can't develop immunity like they are doing with poisons.
Mopping floors using Pine-Sol is also very helpful.
may you people pls stop changing your thumbnails
i only look for them to know who was posting something
..... and yes sometimes i feel like a dead old tree
DE certainly kills bugs. But you're breathing it too, and that's not good for you. I actually prefer a pump-spray bug killer in this case. Or better yet, a bait poison.
there are many reasons someone may choose an avatar and sometimes very little thought goes into it, unless it over the top like a bloody knife or something i never really judge on the avatar or assume someone is trying to be misleading
