Hello all. I'm trying to recreate Menat from Street Fighter into Daz3d. I'd love any suggestions, like a morph/ mat that looks close to her's and what parts to tweak. Thanks in advance! I use G2 G3 andG8.

Attached files for reference.

I think you can hide the beads in the Bast Hair.

She's kind of toonish, so a number of toon themed characters can probably do. There is a free anime head for Genesis 3 at sharecg, which you could dial in partially to get a start. You can probably take your pick with skin, depending on how real you want it. One of the girls based on Sakura 8 had skin like her. But you can probably find lots of skin like that for any generation of Genesis.

    This hair may fit

The Aiko characters would possibly be a good starting point

My first attempt. Any thoughts on how I could possibly improve this? Don't worry about the hair.

That's not bad at all, I think most fans would see it as her. Her skin looks good, lighting can effect that a lot so lighting would probably matter more than the skin itself. Her eyebrows maybe could be lower. On the side profile her cheeks could be smoother. The game model looks to have a very smooth profile. I'm not sure how you can do that, because I don't know what you have available to you. But if you are feeling brave you could try exporting to Hexagon and working on her face there. I don't know if you have ever used Hexagon, but it isn't too bad, especially if you are only making small tweaks. Just save before attempting anything, and save multiple files under different names at different times so you can backtrack if you feel you messed up. There are lots of tutorials on Hexagon, too.

If you own facegen, You can use it with rendered pictures from that character. I tried to recreate some comic characters that way. It's cumbersome but it works. Because who said you only could use real people's fotos for Facegen? :) That way you could create a whole facemorph in one step. (There is another tool, i don't remember the name, that could work as well).
