a little help with neck size?

I was wondering.  a lot of times the necks on the characters seem too long.  Is there a way besides scale to decrease their length?

Scale seems to always squash the structure a bit too much.(scaling down everything and not just the length)  I just want say an 8 inch long neck looking more like 5 inches.

I've tried little things like raising the shoulders or increasing the size of the head a bit to sort of even things out...but all I really want it a smaller neck

:)

thank you for any help (mainly using the genesis 8 female figure right now although I do hop through different characters occasionally)

  • There is a hidden scale slider for the neck length called Y Scale its green.

The default scale will scale it up in all directions. Just scale it in the Y Scale direction/axis by default a green slider. Its a hidden property, to show those go to the Parameters pane option menu (the little button on the upper left of the pane with the triangle and the stripes) and select Show Hidden Properties.

If I recall, if you have body morphs bought, there should be a neck morph slider.
