More problems with Project EYEray for Genesis 8
in The Commons
So I just bought Project EYEray for gen 8, and I've seen a lot of people having the same problem, but mine is different. When I go to apply a mat, it doesn't show that it's been applied in the view port. I tried using the included UV, but tha still doesn't make it show up. Can anyone help me figure this out?

That is definitely different. Are you applying the mats in order (sclera option first, then base iris, etc)? Some of the adjustments will only show up on render (the overlays). If there's multiple figures in the scene, make sure you've got the right one selected?

You can always do a spot render.
Or change the viewport viewing option to Iray.
Base Iris should show up in preview. Additive Iris layers on top of that base iris, but in 25% incremements via the Layered Image Editor. This *will* show in the preview, but it will be subtle unless you add the same one a bunch of times. The Iris Diffuse Overlays will add to the diffuse overlay, but at a low amount. This will not show up in the preview and is very subtle in the final render.
I've never encountered this issue or any other issue using this product.
You need to do the sclera first then the base iris, not iris diffuse. After those, then you can add additive iris and iris diffuse.
