Can I copy and paste the entire material to another body?

Same figure, same bodyshape same character. I just want to copy the material to another duplicated figure. That's all.
Is there any way to do that?
Thank you!

That is what a Materials preset is for.
Yes it is materials preset. If you have the materials preset for the first character, just go to the materials setting for that figure in your Daz content library. Hopefully you already have this pane set up in your view, if not add it. When this comes up, you will see at the bottom left corner a "+" symbol. From the list that pops up select materials preset, give it a name, and save. Now select your second character and double click on your newly created materials preset and watch as it is applied to that character. And you're done!
Thaaaaank you. Very accurate information.
Alternatively...
Select the figure you're copying from, go to the Surfaces tab and make sure all surfaces are selected. Click Edit > Copy > Copy Selected Surface(s) in the menu.
Then select the figure you're copying to, again ensuring all surfaces are selected in the Surfaces tab. Click Edit > Paste > Paste to Selected Surface(s) in the menu.
Thank you very much!
Pasting will transfer only settings it will not change the shader.
This is correct. As far as I'm aware, there is no way to do what you want to do. It is the biggest problem I have with Daz Studio. If anyone knows a way to actually copy and paste a shader, I'd love to know.
If the target surface(s) has a different Shader, the standard function:Copy / Paste selected surfaces will never correctly work ~~
Apply the same Shader beforehand to the target surfaces... or write Daz Scripts to combine the actions of applying Shader + Copy / Paste selected surfaces. There seems no better way, AFAIK ...
