I'm having real problems with IRAY. I have a 1070 and 970 NVIDIA graphic cards. I have IRAY set up to only use the NVIDIA cards and I have the CPU check mark turned OFF. But whenever I start a render, it drops into CPU mode. I have rendered this scene before woth no pproblems so I'm not using too much VRAM. I have re-booted my machine and still DAZ Studio is doing this! Help!

Have you accidently turned one of the preview windows to Iray, and that's going on in the background?
None of my viewport windows is in IRAY mode.
You say you could render it before, has something changed? Did you update something? Like Windows or drivers? Can you render other scenes?
Check your help log file to see what it says. There should be some clues there.
Very strange.. I've done about 30 renders today for my new comic... Studio would not let me render using my two graphics cards! I re-booted twice, uninstalled and re-installed Studio.. still couldn't get it to work ran a utility to see if my graphics cards were working.. now all of a sudden Studio is rendering that scene with IRAY and using both my graphic cards... Wow!.. don't know what caused that hiccup??
Sometimes you do have to quit Studio to refresh it because there may be a memory link that adds up over time. Sometimes when Studio falls to CPU I have to reboot to get it working again. I doubt reinstalling would do much, so I wouldn't do that.
I've sometimes had issues where a scene that should fit on one GPU but might not on the second would still fall to CPU regardless instead of dropping the one smaller GPU like it should. That has been happening more often. The one thing you can do if that is repeatedly happening is to disable the smaller GPU for scenes that are too big for it.
I would still look up your help log file if you haven't done too many more renders. It should show something happening to cause the scene to defer to CPU rendering. If you find that in the file, you can post the text and one of Daz's people can probably tell you what caused it.
