Daz does me spooky - just in time for Halloween! Help!

So this just happened in my last render. I'm used to hair disappearing when I place the camera behind glass, but it looks like this character's face just turned into some old scary...face....

And so, it's also consistent and does it on repeat renders.

Any ideas....

You can imagine the surprise when I come to check the progress of the render and see this on my screen. Freaky.

Changing the glass shader didn't help.

Removing the windshield glass didn't fix it - so it's not glass related.....

Weirdness continues. This is him in DS.

And this is iray preview mode.

I'm going to assume something went wrong and start with a fresh character..

I love the idea of renders growing progressively weirder and more disturbing over an evening. Great start to a short story.

Yeah, that's TOO spooky for me. And since scripts stopped working, I assume something bigger, in Daz, was buggered.

So I restarted and marked that figure possessed and tagged 'do not use... ever'.

  • That first render is so funny!

I used a lighting package that did  very weird things to the suraces in my render,( user error undoubtedly) what lighting did you use?

It's an Orestes HDRI, the Sunny Day one.
