How to tweak extreme poses?
in The Commons
I need to pose the figure into some extreme poses, like contortion, but when i turn off the limits of the legs and then backbend the leg, bug the connection between the leg and the hip seems weird. How to solve such weird concave?

Sorry for the bad english, i tried my best to discribe my problem
Try applying a Smoothing Modifier (Edit>Figure>Geoemtry>Apply Smoothing Modifier) and then in the Parameters pane set the Smoothing Type to Generic. You may also be able to improve that by finding the JCMs that compensate for lesser bends and relaxing their upper limits. I suspect, however, you are going to need a custom corrective morph to fully fix this.
Thank you for your answer, i tried to apply the smooth modifier but it can't solve the problem. What is a JCM exactly?
JCM = joint controlled morph
To be honest, if your target pose is the Biellmann spin, it's much easier to just use a premade pose and tweak it. I tried manually doing it and you need to remove limits, fix the JCM of the left thigh side, pin the other foot on the ground, etc.
My target pose is a backbend in contortion which involves some extreme poses on the leg. I tried to find the JCM on the thigh but all the JCMs can't fix such problem. Is there a way to create a JCM or modify the exisiting JCMs? I also tried to use a d-former but the result is not very good.
A JCM is just a morph that is driven by a joint rotation - for this you may not even need to set it up a a JCM, just as a regular morph. The existing JCMs are on the figure (as all moprhs are), not on the bones - they are hidden by default so in the Parameters pane option menu, the lined button in the top corner of right-click the tab, enable Show Hidden Properties and then look under Currently Used
