Ok, so as a gamer, I can always appreciate a good fishing mini game. Lately though, ive been wanting to transition to a more serious fishing experience. Fishing Planet a good sim?

  • I play games when I render. Usually Saints Row 3 because it's funny and you can also customize and dress the player character up.

Saints Row The Third was the best in the series that ive played. Totally enjoyed the character creation system.

    Currently, George Clinton, Atomic Dog.

it's free to play, has some good DLC to help you advance in both experience, money and gear and the graphics are pretty sweet. If you have a decent PC I'd give it a try.

Soul Calibur 6 just came out, and the character creator is pretty fun.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind (or rather Gold Experience) has started and demands my attention. The ending theme song this season is Freakin' You, which I find absolutely hilarious. But it isn't so out of place with stand powers with names like Sticky Fingers and Gold Experience (which are renamed for US audiences in subtitles, but you can clearly hear the Japanese voice actors saying the real names, LOL.) The Grateful Dead, Aerosmith, Metallica, Purple Haze, and the Spice Girls will all be getting name dropped in this arc. Its going to be fun. I cannot wait to hear Spice Girl yell WAAANNNAAABEEEEEE!!! for her special attack.

So anyway, thanks to JoJo you could say I am listening to Freakin' You right now.

Everytime I see "RDR2" I missread it as "R2D2" and that confuses me for a moment. I'm on the fence and will wait for reviews. It looks good, but I would be very cautious. While Rockstar is capable, they are still under the umbrella of TakeTwo, and what T2 has done to the NBA2K series is frankly offensive. So I am wondering what the catch is, what they will do to try to monetize players who already payed $60 (or more considering season passes and deluxe editions).

Oh my, Soul Calibur 6. Thatll be something I pick up when its under 10 dollars, right around the time 7 comes outwink. Never played JoJos (even though I may own it).

I totally understand your feelings for RDR2. Ill be waiting a few days to read impressions and reviews before buying that. I just dont like paying 60 bucks plus tax on a game only to find it average or worse. My general impressions of games these days is that, well, they look great, but the mechanics and content are more or less the same to PS2 generation titles that came out... sheesh... decades ago in some cases. The monetization could also turn me away from it. But hey, im no longer in the prized demographic so, what does my opinion matterlaugh.

I don't do games, and I can see already that my music selections are quite non-standard.

It was the Alan Parsons project - "I Robot" earlier. Now it's Grace VanderWaal's Austin City Limits concert from October 7 of last year.

I may wind down with either Mannheim Steamroller or Thompson Twins . . .

Nothing wrong with non-standard at all!

I have heard some Alan Parsons project before, I wouldnt be able to tell you what though. Ill check out "I Robot" tomorrow.

I am boring.   Radio Wales playing in the back ground, just for a bit of noise.  Currently Wynne Evans is interviewing Seth Lakeman.(Folk singer-Songwriter)

Chohole, is Elvis still big in Wales? My wife and I were at Castle Combe a few weeks ago and we struck up a conversation with the innkeep. At one point I asked about American music because I had heard alot of it in the pubs (London and surrounding area). The innkeep was totally into Elvis who is apparently still a really popular selection in that area. She talked alot about festivals with Elvis impersonators and kareoke contests.

Not all, but it has several (1 for proper pop and rock, 2 is more middle of the road, 3 is classical, 4 is talk, 5 is I'm not sure, then there are local stations). We also have commercial radio (and TV) stations. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds

Most of the time if I'm working on a render I'll probably have someone like Shpongle playing - music suitable to me.... weird, messed up, twisted, and completely brilliant :D I dunno if I can/should post a link, but just in case, stufff like this - https : //www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvI-ywdjRNo

I don't do cable, but have Netflix, Hulu and Amazon. I have weekly shows on Hulu I watch, the Resident, the Rookie, New Amsterdam, Chicago P.D., Med, and Fire. On the CBS site I watch S.W.A.T. Seal team, Blue Bloods, and the N.C.I.S. shows. One of my fav shows is the Last Ship on TNT

As for movies, I have a pretty extensive DVD/BluRay collection and usually purchase it when it is released if it's something I like, like the Marvel movies. I'll have to check out the Haunting of Hill House, I love a good ghost story!

  •  I'll have to check out the Haunting of Hill House, I love a good ghost story!

Lol, "good" being the key word. There are so few good ghost stories these days or good horror movies for that matter. Haunting of Hill House is fun so far. Being a series, its going to be interesting to see how they keep it fresh. Even if the writing stayed in peak form, id say that Netflix shouldnt try to drag it out for more than two seasons at the max.

Oh, I also enjoyed Apostle on netflix. The ending was really abrupt and not well thought out. I got the impressions that they ran out of time and money and didnt quite know how to finish it. It was still fun though.

Its nice to have something fun to watch and play around Holloween. Pretty soon, my wife and I are going to have to bust out Fatal Frame and go through those again.

Currently listening to... Chickens. Yep, Chickens are making noise outside. Not alot of time to put on some music yet. Too much to do today. I got the cyborg bundle this morn so im going to download a couple things and take a quick render break.
