Interesting. I got him yesterday with the HD and a couple of other addons, and he was $42.51 for me, as well.
Also got him for 42.51, could the other price have had a couple applied?

Wow. Dracula got swole! You know, I wouldn't think a vamp would see those kinda gains, on account of the whole anemia thing. And being dead.
Possible. I had a LOT of things in that order... 82 items... so anything is possible. But, as I said, I got the extra 10 percent off on a bunch of the Vladd-ons too, as well as the new universal dress and the add-on for that.

PC+ members can still get the extra 10% on the Vlad add-ons, seeing as they are Still New. I'm not seeing any difference in the prices from yesterday, on the DO's at least.
Absolutely awesome character! Haven’t bought a lot of pro bundles but Vlad is great as are the accompanying characters and addons, top work by the artists.
The deals that went along were also really good! Had like 300 for 50 or so , with some favorites from my wishlist. Thanks DAZ and artists!
I wasn't too sure about the character at first, but he mixes well, and brings a different flavor into the G8 DNA - it works.
The real Vlad was a warrior. So if vampires like they were alive, don't change their looks through centuries, Vlad the vampire would look definitely not like an anaemic zombie.

Just bought Ward for Vladimir as he is a very masculine character and I love he has the ability to have grey stubble and chest hair....
Got Vlad the first morning he was released. I think he was like $38.26 when added to my cart! Quite nice for the Pro Bundle. I'll have to remember that for new pro bundle releases ... first day you get more of a discount... See screen grab below of my receipt!

Weird. I thought it showed up as $38 initially for me the release day but I ended up emptying out my cart while I was trying to pick the add-ons I wanted. When I added him back in later that day, he was $42.
He was like 42 got me. Wonder how you got him cheaper?
I didn't buy the pro bundle but it was $38 & change on release day in my cart. I have bought 4 Genesis 8 Pro Bundles in total (up to a certain number of Pro Bundles in the current Genesis generation you get a bigger discount on new pro bundles and tend to get more 'bonus' freebies and discounts.
$38.26 here. First day of release, PC+ member, and whatever loyalty discount didn't get a banner, but was active anyway. Plus I had several of the add-on products in the cart as well, which probably contributed something to the discount.
There was a much nicer selection of potential freebies and deep discount items with this release, I must say!
Daz Midnight is only 11pm for me, and I'm always up way past that, so I always check the store when it rolls over. I put Vlad Pro in the cart within 30 minutes of the changeover and the price for me was $42.51 from the get go. I waited until after the offices at Daz opened to checkout, hoping to see a banner for an extra discount reward for all the G8 pro bundles I've previously purchased. I've picked up several pro bundles in the past year for $33 and change, and was hoping to see Vlad go lower.
Looks like some folks got an extra 10% off, to get that $38.26 price. Wish I'd been one of them.
All of the PAs I talked to who bought it paid $47.61 for the pro bundle - so in this case you all got a better deal than the PAs. lol
$42.51 for me too on the first morning, and I bought all the add-ons but two, plus 30 miscellaneous environments that weren't on my wishlist.
But I just did my first test render of Vladimir 8, and I'm so pleased that the skin is on the same level of photorealistic brilliance as Floyd! Now, I just need for Lee and one other male to have skin this good, and I will be set for G8M quality. Bravo, Daz, and whoever the artist(s) was/were that did the skin and Iray implementation.

My first picture of Vladimir has him using two of his add on characters along with hair and clothing from his promo bundle. Not thrilled with how this picture turned out, but I do like the characters.
Coo-well. Nice idea; it just needs some set dressing and a torch and/or candle or two. I'm surprised there's not a Faveral and Merlin sale to go along with Vladimir.
Thanks. I had spent too much time at the computer deciding what to buy, then installing, and then setting up this picture. I should have played with lighting and more prop details. I may go back and re do this with those elements in mind.
