    • i had the Viking hair for G3M already, but now I got a beard going with it..
    • The chainmail "cloak" from the Templar Outfit is utterly bollocks, as no templar would be able to mount a horse in it and they weren't know to be the greatest fighters on foot.
    • the sword from the Medieval Villager Outfit is anything but, as european swords at that time were usually straight bladed and not worn by villagers... and them boots aren't that authentic either... but both are okay-ish for a fantasy setting
    • I don't really need a blacksmith or Poseidon

    ...but the 10 items free and even more the "get stuff that's usually > $ 20.- for $ 1.59 or $ 2.59" not only took care of a nice part of my wishlist, but got me some stuff that I hadn't on the wishlist due to it rarely being cheap enough to garner my interest.

    In the end, i got some cloth shaders, several rooms with tons of furniture and deco stuff, a cave, a Mayan temple, a SciFi byo rooms set and.. and... and... worth ~ $ 500.- for $ 60.-

    Still my credit card is whining a little bit, especially as the PC+ sale will still go on for a while.. and has also been quite tempting or rather unresistable already

    Excellent character to contribute to the gene pool, and I was very happy to load up on environments, especially scifi and fantasy.  I also picked up the Kids playtime bundle for some added some fun.  I am a happy Dazaholic.

    @jakiblue thank you for showing us the versitility of the Buzzcut hair set. Wow, it looks amazing on your female model. I would never have even thought of using it that way.

    One of my favourite Daz characters so far. I only made him a bit thinner to my taste.

    Mihrelle's MRL Buzz Cut Hair, Stubble and Scars for Genesis 8 and Genesis 3 Male works pretty well on the G8 females, for those who like versatility. Although after the scars loaded, there was a lag of about 4 minutes before they showed up. Could be my comp tho. Used the buzz cut hair and the scars here on Sahel. I'd love to see @Mihrelle do a G8Female version tho.... :) Gonna check how that viking hair goes on the G8 females next.

    Oh awesome, looks like the scars applied very well to her.  Thanks for posting this, it makes the decision to purchase even easier.

    I'm overwhelmed. I love everything about the Vlad 8 Pro Bundle (which is great), and almost all the add-ons (less great on my wallet). I am going to have to work on culling my shopping cart, but this is hands-down the most exciting G8 release for me!

    I don't mind the bundle. I'm glad to see an updated version of the Viking Hair, i could never get the G2 one to work right on newer figures. The outfits, I can find a use for as I can the 10 freebies. For $40 not a bad deal. Good thing I'm getting paid tomorrow.yes

    I was hoping for Lucian, not Ivan, especially so soon after the Freak. But I guess I'll see what's in the bundles. More renders of Vladesques where he's more lean and less bulky would be welcome.

    HD add-on is not included in the Pro Bundle.

    Just I preferred to purchase these 4 items : Vlad 8, HD add-on, Ryker and Buzz Cut Hair ($40.88 instead of $55.09 for Pro Bundle + HD add-on).

    Same here. I love just about everything with the Vladimir release, but I'm not trimming my cart. I'm a greedy boy who wants his toys. ;-)

    Another awesome Daz pro bundle! I'm pleased that Vlad looks manly as opposed to the pretty boy effeminate look and feel. Vlad brings a good balance to my library of guys.

    Great opportunity: Buy pro and grab 10 free items from Daz's designated list.

    I don't buy pro bundles as often nowadays, but... between a bunch of the cool stuff in the bundle, 10 free items, and deep discounts on other stuff? PLONK

    Also, I REALLY like the sales format of 'buy pro bundle, select free items.' Pretty straightforward and somewhat customizable for your personal interests. Like, the free list had a nice range of fantasy, scifi, and a bunch of other stuff.

    I was the same, the 10 free items + the $1.59/$2.59 items...I cleared out a bunch in my wishlist. (saved over $500.00)

    I think Vladimir looks awesome. I know I'll be using him a lot in my work and would have gotten him regardless, but between the 10 free items and the 1.59 and 2.59 items, I'm getting like 15 loctaions that have been in my wish list, the most exciting being Misty River Gorge, so this is an instant pick up. Guess I'll be working some OT this weekend to cover what I'm spending today lol.

    While I don't especially like Vladimir I do very much like some of the add on characters like Ryker.... so I bought them both as I can see add ons that appeal to me and my BDSM artwork....

    You are right. There is a texture for it. There just doesn't seem to be a link in the library for it. I had to manually add it in the Surfaces section. This needs to be fixed.

    There is nothing in the bundle that I can imagine using unless I just do something different just for fun, but the freebies and two other offers make it worth it. I was initially going to pass, but getting all those items for under $3.00 sold me. Now my cart is almost $100 because those small prices add up. Daz is pretty brilliant when it comes to marketing, they know how to get me and I’m sure other people, to spend way more than intended! I don’t know how I’m going to get through a month of this sale, I already used up my whole gift card. Time for a new gift card offer! (Not that I can even afford one now!)

    Plenty of G8-compatible contemporary clothing in the store. Just use some of that. :)

    No G8-compatible Viking stuff, however, up until now.

    Not really much for G3, either, sadly...

    I mean, it’s all fun, but I can’t imagine using it for a project, because it’s so completely different from what I normally do.

    I bought Vladimir 8 Pro Bundle, but I'm having problems with installing it with Daz Connect. This has been my experience so far. Maybe it will help someone else with the same problems know they are not alone. 

    1. The dForce Templar Outfit installs but every file is corrupt. This product is totally unusable.
    2. The Poseidon Outfit is nowhere to be seen. So, I tried to install it using the offline installation package available in my Product Library. That installs, but every file is corrupt - another totally unusable product.
    3. The MRL Buzz Cut Hair has no product thumbnail. This is an issue for both Daz Connect and DIM.
    4. Daz Studio crashed with no error message (just closed) while simulating the Blacksmith shirt and apron in a simple standing pose with forearms bent.
    5. Blacksmith Outfit wardrobe and accessories 3Delight materials are categorized as Iray materials.

    So now I've wasted a lot of time today writing help requests about these issues.

    Well, if nothing else, it's going to be very hard after Vladimir for anyone to make an argument that DAZ hasn't pulled out all the stops to try and sell male figures... I mean, the discounts in this promo are just crazy.  Not only is the Pro Bundle dirt cheap for everyone out of the gate... no blue bars or previous purchases of anything required... but the added free content and super-discounted add-ons cover an incredible range of product. The cart I'm building now currently has 73 items at an average discount of 90% off... that's glitch-sale level discounting and a lot of it's product that only became DO's a few months ago.  Even if I didn't like Vlad (and I like him a lot) I'd buy him just to encourage DAZ to keep up this kind of promotion.
