    I'm a bit confused, I know I wrote in here as I found it amusing that I hadn't even realised it was down (and up again) before I read it here. I assume it was removed with some of the posts, though I can't understand why

    No, it is my fault, because my internet at home is not working so I cannot go to YouTube at home so it went off line just for me.  0.o

    My kid's YouTUbe Kids app eemed to work through the outage, thank God. But i spent 20 minutes debugging his computer berfore I realized it wasn't just that machine.

    From what I understand YouTube Kids is not the same as regular YouTube, but I could be wrong since I have not done much research into it.

    YouTube works where I live. Maybe because it is only short clips of birds singing that I was watching.

    Looks like they made the main video display bigger. Got rid of the space-hogging sidebar and made it an overlay instead.
