Gen2f Hair convert to gen3f

Hi all I'm having some troubles with something.  I have bought a hair style called lilyanne hair on the daz store a while ago for my gen2 female.  It's a nice looking hairstyle.  The artist is Swam https://www.daz3d.com/lilyanne-hair-for-genesis-2-female-s-and-victoria-4. ; Now the troubles that I'm having is I would like to use this hair style on my gen3 female.  I'm aware of the auto fit thing in daz but the rig gets removed and some morphs don't go well.  Is there any way I can convert the hair to gen3 ? It would kinda suck having it only for my gen2 female.

    Try parenting it instead of using autofit.

    Yes Chohole saied it right load the hair item with nothing selected in the scene and then parent it to the Gen3 Females head. You could drag and drop the hair item in the Scene pane or use the Change Parent action. You may have to translate and scale the hair a bit to fit to the other figures head. Next you can also add the Smoothing Modifier to the Hair and set the Collison Target in the Prameters pane to Gen3 Female. Now the hair will try to fit to the head maybe select the head bone of the hair and scale it some, otherwise you could also add DFormers and define the hair shape to better fit the character head shape.
