    That's great to hear.  What happens to all the compression (and other) wrinkles that are modelled into the cloth?  Does it all flatten out?

    not if you keep the cloth moderately stiff (or just don't set dforce at 100%). You will need to do a little bit of work in the weight painting, but not much.
