DG Iray 200 Iris Colors for Genesis 8 and Merchant Resource is a set of 216 iris colors. Each pair of iris colors is matched, but not identical, so you get a total of 432 unique iris textures. Textures maps are saved in the Iray Uber Base Color, Translucency, and Glossy Color channels only for the Iris and Pupils Materials. No surface settings will be affected. This makes them compatible with any character texture, or shader presets using the Iray Uber base shader. Additionally, all 216 colors are saved in Diffuse Overlay Color only, with masks to let you mix and match a base color and overlay color to change each eye color independently. That's right, any eye color can be used on either the left or right eye.

DG Iray 200 Hair Colors Shaders and Merchant Resource is a set of 204 multi hued hair tiles that gives superb depth of color to your models. All tiles are unique and seamless. Texture maps are saved inthe Base Color, Translucency and Glossy Color channels only. No surface settings will be affected. This makes these new colors completely compatible with other hair shader packages. And of course, all 204 colors are saved in the Diffuse Overlay Color, with 16 blend masks to be ultra compatible with sets that utilize Diffuse Overlay Color blending.

    Those colorful eyes are really cool! They look like they'd make great toon, creature, and alien type characters. Awesome! 

    I'm looking forward to seeing the hair shaders too!

    Bought them love them except I notice the white edge around the iris which I know is a G8 thingy and I know I saw something about how to deal with it but my brain can't remember what it was ...can any body help my brain?

    Hah!! Found it!! The white ring appears when you are useing G3 textures  and I was using the base G8 texture which is a G3 .........changed to V8 and the ring disappeared!! Wow I really needed a V8 !!

    I'm not sure, but if I remember correctly I think if you go to the sclera in the surfaces tab and turn "Glossy Reflectivity" down to zero that should get rid of the white eye ring (that's if I remember correctly, but my memory isn't the best lol).

    I was anticipating that question. For the most part, yes. At least the materials apply with no issue and they looked good on every character I tried on Genesis 2 and 3. I've attached templates and where the eyes overlay for Genesis 3 and Genesis 2 and renders.

  • Does anyone know how to make the overlay work to have two different colot eyes? Probably a simple thing but I can't seem to decipher it.

  • NVM, I forgot the overlay is not visible in the viewer...need to stop working on late night scenes
