I purchased Joey - and the main selling point, for me, is his freckles/skin complexion. However, after installing, the skin tone from the cheeks up is quite different than the rest of his body. I understand his scalp might not get as much sun and have the freckles drawn out, but I know from my own skin that below the eyes/across the cheeks gets the same hue. Even in the texture shaded view, his face immediately looks like it isn't going to match up with the body. (Preview lights off, headlamp off.)
Any suggestions?

Yes, they don't looked matched but I don't have that product. Often the cheeks having sun beating down on them make them redder/tanner than the jaw. I don't know what to do about that but you can combine these two products:

- albino & you'll need to change the SSS Mode from Chromatic to Mono and also adjust the transmitted color and translucent color to be the almost white or very pale pink / peach white as appropriate to the character you are making). Note that Tyrone's cheeks can be very ruddy like it's cold outside or he's drunk but with the right adjustments it's just normal flushed cheeks,

- I don't have this yet but plan to buy it as all the reviews have been good & the renders I've seen have been good.
I noticed that myself. It seems odd. I guess it's supposed to be a tan line from having a beard? Maybe? I don't know.
