What ever happened to more breeds for daz dog 8?

Seems like we are still missing some very popular breeds. Doubt I'll buy into this type of thing again if this is how things go.

    I'd like a westie wih LAMH fur. Or, failing that, any cute dog with LAMH fur.

    We are still missing the breeds that were amongst shapes for some of the products, not to mention some of the poses has been prepared for those breeds as well :/ The Comical Canine Poses for Daz Dog(s) 8 has poses Specifically made for German Shepherd Dog 8, Wolf Dog 8 and Husky Dog 8... I had hoped we would atleast get those :(

    And I would have loved seeing more breeds too like border collie, dalmatian and several others

    Was dog 8 released early to compete against HW3d dog? The latter came out in the spring, if i remember correctly, and dog 8 a few months later. Both are nice models, but significant development on both seems to have come to a bit of a standstill.

    I’ve been hoping for a Chihuahua . That’s been in the works at the other place for a couple of years. I love daz dog but prefer toy breeds so I hope we’ll get some here..eventually.

    Me too.  I adore the Chihuahua breeds and mixed breeds.  So cute!

    The shortcoming of dogs is obviously hair. Daz doesn't have their own hair system, so they only release short-haired dog breeds. When will we get dHair?

    well there was a morph for a shepherd etc in some of the addons that never came, who knows when those are coming

    I've been waiting for the German Shepherd, so I've abstained from getting Dog 8 until that breed is released. Fingers crossed!

    With no disrespect whatsoever to AM, because I love his fluffy creations, his Husky and Shepherd models are wolves. Poses and props for Daz Dog obviously won't work with them. And I want a Border Collie! crying

    There's also the fact that the poses in the pose set I mentioned earlier ( Comical Canine ), has poses made specifically for german shepherd dog8, wolf dog 8 and husky dog 8... that don't sound like AM's animals, and I beleive the dog breeds that came out with lamh fur was not from AM himself but someone else. Which means they won't work in catalyzer since only AM's own product do that (don't remember why it was like that, some technical things I think)

    It tend to trigger crashing for me as well. For some reason it seems that the lamh iray catalyzer (forgot the actual name, sorry) works better than the lahm free player did (never bought the other one, since the free player was not working well for me). The catalyzer still causes crashes for me, but not as many. Perhaps it would work for you as well Serene? (unless you already tried it ofc)

    I agree @Chohole, a Lassie would be nice to see as well :)

    I'd be tempted to boycott if we got a Lassie. Now a cat would be different - we need a cat! (or  10)

    Salukis are gorgeous! Maybe it could be part of a greyhound pack, with morphs for Afghan Hound and Borzoi (and Greyhound, of course) as well. We're allowed to hope.
