Another Terradome coming?

Just curious. The last Terradome 3 sets were released around the low 30,000 product number range, so seeing as how we're well into the 50,000s, I'm wondering if there is any informed speculation about the prospects of an updated Terradome being released in the near future? Many of the scenes I do involve landscapes so I'd like to have the most updated bells and whistles possible.
Many thanks!

I haven't seen any real indications of a new basic TerraDome; but a nice set of new morphs for TerraDome 3 was recently released: https://www.daz3d.com/terradome-3-re-formed--pro-morphs-vol-3
Thank you, I hadn't seen those!
The original Terradome for Poser was an RDNA product. When Daz merged with, (bought?) RDNA, the original artists of Terradome created a Daz Studio/Iray version. I'd say the biggest disappointment is that we're not seeing addons for TD3 with any kind of regularity. The pro morphs Charlie mentioned are the first TD3 specific product to be released in about a year and a half, I believe. Sedor has released some HDRI products that will work with TD3, but they weren't specific to Terradome 3. I suppose it depends on how well the last morph addon sells as to whether or not we'll see more in the future.
Can't imagine there's any need! There could be new shaping morphs and materials made for the present one for many years.
And? What bells and whistles do you believe a new version requires that TD3 misses out on? Or is the product number the only criterion that drives this request?
I just did a quick look through the product index because I always wondered about the product numbers that seem to accelerate exponentially. So I found:
product 1000 was released in 2002
product 10000 was released in 2009
product 20000 was released in 2015
product 30734 was released in 2017
product 50001 was released in 2018
So apparently at some point, Daz didn't increment the product numbers +1 for each product. There are huge gaps in the 30000-40000s that's why I picked a random product in the 30's. In recent years, I thought the product numbers were going up rather fast, so I've always wanted to do an analysis. I'm not sure why they started skipping numbers, I imagine they have a system though. And this doesn't take into account products that have been removed from the store. I don't know if those numbers are reused or retired (maybe reserved for an item that's brought back into the store later).
But I'm not hoping for a new Terradome, I barely use the current one.
No offense, but that could be taken as sounding a bit snarky.
Let's see... Easier memory requirements. Possibility of higher and lower poly regions to ease system requirements. So on, so on, etc., etc...
I'll stop asking questions now. I'm sorry if I've upset some folks.
the most useful thing for terradome, imo, was a script called ECO for terradome 2 by Shaderworks. it produces planes of plants, works, objects and allow distribution on the surface. ... /i would love to have that for DS/Terradome 3.

here is a tutorial video will explain how it works ...
Products have basically been only using odd numbers since the RDNA takeover (Spring 2016), so burning through the digits twice as fast since then. There is a big, mostly empty, chunk from about 38100 to 43600. The Documentation Center Product Index will give a good indication of what's been released, even discontinued items, if you really want to know. Early numbers are sparse (<5K) and most of the RDNA have no entries.
Have you tried UltraScatter?
thanks..i hadn;t seen that before... YES ... it should work
I don’t iuse terraform, it looked cool but my machine could not handle it with long render times, so I guess, it doesn’t matter too much if a new version is coming for me, I couldn’t use the last one,
Same here. I had to return it when it was released because once I added the figures, clothing, hair and any vehicles to it I coulodn't render as it took up way to many resources.
I've upgraded a bit since then, but I have other products that I use now.
Chances are an upgrade or new edition would be even more resource intensive.
Pretty reasonable to think an iterated program with a number 3 will have a successor. I have resisted getting Daz horse 2 because it was released before Iray and I'm guessing there will be another version in the not to distant future (why do I suddenly feel people in the Daz offices are chortling at me because they know differently? ;p). Things can always be improved which is why there is chatter about genesis 9.
That kind of chatter starts as soon as a new figure is announced. Once it is confirmed to be coming people lose interest and start looking towards the one after it, even before the prior figure is actually released. This chatter is totally meaningless.
