V4 Clothes to G >>> G8

I know this has been discussed a lot, but when I search for posts, all kinds of stuff comes up, not what I'm looking for.

What I would like to do is apply V4 clothese to G3 or G8, for instance.

I can get the bodysuit, foir starters, to fit G perfectly ... but now, how do I take that G bodysuit and save it to be used on G2 or G3..or can I just start right off with G3.. well i tried that but poke though in a lot of places...
Can someone just list the steps to go from V4 clothes through the cycle to G8?

Your best bet is this product for GF3 https://www.daz3d.com/wear-them-all-autofitting-clones-and-clothing-smoothers-for-genesis-3-female-s

then once it is fitted to GF3, save it (as a support assets - figure/prop asset) and then either autofit to G8 or change the scene identifier.

There is a V4 to G8 product from Sickleyield, but it is only for special types of clothing like dresses and tunics. Any normal fitting clothing will be corrupted

well, that is surely good to know, and even better that I have already purchased that.

What happens when you buy so much stuff you cant even remember what..or what its for.
