There is something wrong with HP Zelie's skin.
The grey seams appear when I darken the skin to give a tanned look. (I just turn the base colour grey instead of white).
I don't think it is the old gamma error since the colour are the same on the diffent body parts, they are just separeted by an ugly grey line.

Please giver the figure some clothes, such as the basic Wear, for your image.
Are you using the Iray or 3Delight materials, and are you rendering in Iray or 3Delight?
Iray render. Iray materials.
Check the bump, displacement and translucency settings and see if they are different for each area. It looks as if there is a difference between the torso settings and the limb ones.
I loaded HP Zelie, from the character preset used to load a new figure, into an empty scene with the default render options and don't get the seams.
Bump, displacement and transluceny are the same for all bodyparts.
As I said in the first entry. The seams only appear when i change the skin colour.
Test to adjust the base colour to some shade of grey and the seams will appear.
What about the Gamma for the torso and limbs diffuse maps?
There are no diffuse maps on this figure,
I slected Zelie, in the Surfaces pane I selected the Skin group, click Base colour and selected a darker grey in the picker (value shows as 0.27). Still not seeing any seams
Hmmm....
Seems like it was some form of computer flew! I restarted imy computer and then the seams was gone.
Thanks for your help!
So, the issue seems UNSOLVED after all.
When I tried to make a render again, the seams reappeared.
What I noticed, and what might be the explanation to why Richard didn't get the lines, is that they appear in the render after a while, not immediately.
From the graininess in Richards image i guess it didn't render more than just a short while.
Richard could you please test again and let it render longer?
OK, just reloading it all.
OK, this is again with default render settings (so 95% convergence ratio)
I suppose you darkened her skin, otherwise the lines doesn't appear.
This is so strange to me. I don't understand why I get these lines.
Yes, I pulled the Base Colour values down to around .27 again. Are you loading the character preset, or applying a materials preset to a pre-loaded figure? If it's the latter, try the former (which is what I've been doing).
I load the preset. The only thing I do after that is darkening the skin by adjusting Base Colour.
Then i I hit "Render".
Are you using Spectral Rendering in Render Settings? If so, try turning it off.
That did it!
How on earth did you figure that out?
I confirm the issue with Spectral Rendering, tested on V8.
I have it both on the current and beta version of DS.
No problem without Spectral Rendering.
