TShirt Dress?

Hi,

Going through my items for Genesis 8 Female.  Found this entry.  I have all the materials but no dress.  It's called a TShirt Dress.  Might even be D-Force but don't know.  Searched the store and even over at 'Rosity.  Can't find it.... help?  See my attachment below for a screen grab of the materials...

Thank you

Richard

Looks like this https://www.daz3d.com/dForce-night-shirt-and-sippers-for-genesis-8-female-s. It looks like the original product is called a night shirt, but the textures call it a t-shirt dress. Confusing.

Yeah just move the materials folder into the nightshirt folder then delete the tshirt dress folder.

Realy wish PA's had more eye for these details.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.  Yup, I own that too so I'll go do that now... Grrrrrrrrrrr I agree.. The pubilshed artist really should have used the same path to the main product and then naming it TShirt would have been fine.

Yes, I have that issue too, where one vendor is the original modeller for the outfit, but then another vendor who just does addon textures puts them in a competely random separate folder just named 'Materials'  floating around  and totally unrelated to the original product.  Then all I see is thumbs of Materials and have to wonder what they belong to.  Maddening til you figure it out (thank you knowledgeable forum gurus) and can move it to the original product folder. Should be mandatory for texture makers to have thier products extract to the folder where the original outfit is.

Same thing bugs me about Textures being named Texture, and Environments being named Environment.  Wake up QA. frown

Too add, since both products were sold here at DAZ I would think that Q&A would have corrected that in house before release!  indecision

They use to fix wrong folder names in product if you report it. It will then be fixed automatically by DIM when the update is out, plus if there are further updates the will go to the right place (this is not the case if you move the manually and there then is an update).

I don't think though that they will change the path for an addon as the vendor is allowed to put it where they want.

But I agree they should do something about this, I have 3 Environment/Environments/Envirionments folders myself. A simple script could easily catch and fix these errors before the products are released.
