Purple Strip!

Nice $5 off on purchases with the pruple strip. I can't read all of the drop-down to get all the info becaue the bottom cuts off the screen and I can't see everything it says and I can't move it up to see it. It also says something about "free items," but I don't know what that's all about. Also, is this only for one use only, or can it be used again before the day is out? As I mentioned, the bottom of the offer cuts off at the bottom of my screen so I can't read all the info.

    As far as I can tell, the "Free items" may only come into play if you buy a PC+ item that's not marked as new (and are a PC+ member, because otherwise "free" doesn't work there either).

    This is a nice offer from Daz. Maybe I'm taking advantage a bit since I used it on stuff I was already getting 70% off as Daily Specials.

    It shows that it pays to get your timing right. I live in a timezone that is several hours ahead of Daz. I did my usual early afternoon look through the store, saw a few things I wanted and the banner hadn't appeared. I decided to think it over, went out to get some shopping and when I got back the banner was there. If I had done the shopping earlier in the week like I originally planned I would have missed this offer. I think the moral of this and a few other stories in the forum is: buy the offers you want on the day they appear, but make it late in the day, especially if your timezone is ahead of the USA.

    I tried to use it for Fast Grab. It didn't work for me, but I got a character I've wanted for less than $3, so I'm happy.

    Was the Fast Grab item you tried to use it in a DAZ Original? The purple banner offer only applies to DAZ Originals.

    Click on the little blue man icon in the top right corner of any DAZ page, and select "Messages". Click on the Thursday offer message, and you'll see it in a separate tab that you can scroll up and down with the page.
