Suddenly G3M loads with Growing Up preset already applied

I noticed this yesterday.  When I load G3M, the Growing Up 9-10 year old preset is already applied.  I look at the paramater settings and noticed that the limits is on and the min and max are both set to

67%.  I created a child like this a few days ago, but somehow I did something that now has a fresh G3M load like this.  ANy suggestions on how to fix it so G3M will load like it should?

I had something like this with a character body already applied. It’s annoying, since I even uninstalled it, and its still there. I haven’t had time to look into it... its really weird.

Try this. Load g3m into a fresh scene. Find the offending parameter in the parameters pane and look at the default value, which I suspect is not zero. Change this default to zero and also change the current value to zero.

Now save as support asset - save modified asset and hopefully next time you load G3M the morph will load at zero.

My advice would be to uninstall and then reinstall the Genesis 3 male essentials package

That will not affect any add-ons that have non-zero defaults.

Check for freshly installed 3rd party - non-DAZ shop - figures that uses the morphs. Won't write more, as I already had posts removed by moderators after giving details about this problem and how to possibly solve it under certain circumstances

True, I was just considering the case where the G3M base dsf file has been accidently overwritten with a default already set.

The base dsf doesn't have references to the morphs, theya re self-contained .dsf files in the /morphs folder in the figure's asset folder - that's why it's possible to just drop a new set of morphs in and have them work.

Yes, but if someone did a "Save asset as" when G3M was selected, and resaved that back to somewhere, wouldn't that new dsf file have references to the morphs that were on it at the time?

You mean the resaved .dsfs for the supplied morphs? Yes, that is true.
