It's an absolutely gorgeous Beaux Artes-era indoor pool. Only... why does it have divisions and barriers in it? You couldn't swim laps in it. Is it sort of an updated hamam where you are just supposed to lol around and look beautiful and indolent in it?
It looks like a really pleasant (semi) public bath. I want to use it!
JOdel I posted in the other thread but first Thank you! To make things easier to use, half of the whole room loads alone or can be loaded with a smaller second porp that completes the pool area but not the whole room or a preset that loads the entire room. So I did it to make life easier. But if you need a full open pool the center floats are props and can be deleated. Use the Z-scale on the water plane, it's a prop, and tile the normal map ( it gives you the waves) and you're all set. Best to everyone!!!

I've found plenty already during this sale. The green banner for an extra 10% off last week certainly helped. I'd buy two new releases at 50% off then that on top of it, plus some free things. Pretty good deals to me. And gorgeous new releases. I think the sale is ramping up nicely. Hoping my credit will last for the PC+ sale.
wow I'm very disappointed.
I just noticed that the Genesis 8 Female Anatomical Elements only comes with certain pro bundles & not all of them. But all the male pro sets do. I almost bought a anime pro bundle set and relies when reading the description. which I don't usually buy pro bundles that they don't come with Gens!? Yeah I can understand gens not coming with the teen & kids pro sets. But Anime really?! why doesn't the anime pro sets have gens in them? That is just wrong. Anime is one of my best Adult animated film request. even Aiko4 & Hiro4 came with gens , so why no gens in the genesis8 female Anime pro bundles? have people gotten that up tight about everything,? that is just sad..
No sale on the pro bundles offer for me today .... grumble.... grumble...

I might of gone for the special offer of Genesis 8 Pro Bundles but they left off both Mabel & Floyd. Edward & Alexandra are needed by me too but not as much visually & morph wise & definately not clothing & hair wise. Besides Mabel has some pretty nice, appropriate, and even funny products in her pro bundle.
Do the G8 Pro Bundles typically go on sale again during the PC+ sale?
Both the quarterly and yearly Platinum Club Plus memberships are on sale with DAZ Originals being part of the Featured Artist Catalog sale. The yearly price is reduced to $42, but if you add another item from the sale it drops to $35 (50% off the regular $70). You could get the quarterly membership for $12 , which would be a good trial if you have never been part of the Platinum Club, but I think the yearly is the best deal now if you can afford it.
This was a welcomed surprise as my quarterly membership had just expired a few days ago and I was about to renew. I was now able to renew for a year for just $11 more than I was going to pay for the 3 month deal.

It's up to you. It might be good for checking in next year to see how the sales compare. For the generational stuff, it says PC members get an additional discount in cart, but the price doesn’t change for me... Now it seems to work but other discounts don’t. Every time I refresh my cart, I get different prices...
I didn't find an additional discount for PC members either. So I removed them from my cart and made my other purchases.
So it seems if your a vendor with a new product on Friday - you also get the weekend as the "New" and benefit of the coupons. Kind of sad for those released Monday - Thursday.
LOL! I gave up on mine lasting to the PC+ sale. And I opted not to get another gift card yesterday when they were 15% off. Silly me... I knew I was going to spend it anyway.

I dunno. Yes, its a sale, but no, the prices don't seem to be low enough to attract me. I guess I'm spoiled. I've already dumped by cart twice after looking at the prices and realizing that I don't really need anything, at least not at their current prices. Color me Debby Downer.
I am finding little to buy right now myself. I am looking more for tutorials, utilities, props etc that i can use in the future, products that are very useful longterm and enhance what I already have. One product on my want list is V3Digitimes Pose mixer which works for all generations. At least now I can convert my G3 clothing catalogue to G8 which will more than double what I have so no need to buy more in that dept right now unless it has outstanding features. I am also putting my time into learning instead of buying so I can upgrade and use the back catologue of products I already have. It's still really hard not to focus on the "OHH neww, shiny" and "I want it now" though.
I need to save for a new rig. Daz keeps crashing on my laptop, so its time for a desktop. Putting the cash into that is better than buying goodies that my old PC can't run and use adequately, anyway.
*peeks in* pretty busy this weekend but I do feel that so far this sale has been very... predictable, which is kind of the opposite of 'exciting', although useful for planning purposes.
This is my first PA sale. I ended up picking up a few starter bundles for several of the G8's for around $25 a piece about a week ago I have been wanting and caught up on the HD addons I was missing. I really liked some of the plugins and addons, can't wait to try the Cartoonized for Genesis 8 Female - too bad it wasn't for males as well.
Finally broke over and bought a few items tonight. I was going to hold off and not buy any more until Daz releases a new male character bundle, but decided there were some Genesis 3 items I still really wanted while they were 58% off. Sadly, I'm house sitting for a friend and won't have access to my art computer for new renders for a few days.
I bought some cool stuff during the sale! This weekend was a little weird, though, because I got an offer good only on debut items, then the list of debut items didn't change for something like four days. First time I've ever noticed that happen! With nothing new to choose from, I had to let the coupon expire.
It was the same last weekend. The Debut items on Friday, held through on Saturday and Sunday.
I bought way too much stuff during this sale, but the only "Premier Artist" new item was PC+ too... all the rest just came from the artist catalogues with price reduced older items that didn't require a new item in the cart...

Flashsales are killers for my creditcard usually... I am sure I hear it wincing every time there's a new flashsale up here at the shop
@maikdecker I know what you mean . I have paypal credit card just for 3d sites. This month I'm trying to be conservative but its so hard when things that are coming out are must have's, like Fluidos and all the wonderful shader packs being released lately.lol What can I say PA sales & Shaders are my weakness, So I really need to thank daz sales team for making the incentives less enticing this year. , I remember years past when PA sales were over i would be 6 months paying it off, so Other wise I think my CC would be panting from exhaustion this year if the sales were like they use to be in years past. Maybe its just the novelity has wore off I dunno . the sales this year s just don't seem to be there..
Though I am still grumbling about the how some of the pro 8 bundles offered this year don't come with genitals. Like the Karyssa 8 Pro Bundle which I would have napped in a second if it came with gens, there were a couple of other Anime bundles as well I would have gotten. , I don't need another Victoria model just to get the gens that is ridiculous . But hey I got to have something to grumble about ..lol
That is why I always use a 3rd party option for females, works for all figures, is much more detailed and matches textures perfectly. I am going thru the same thing as you for male figures since I recently found I needed the male gens for a commission project and went with the default one which has me second guessing purchases based on whether they come with gens materials or not.
