Featured Artist Catalogs up to 72% OFF¥
Buy any combination of Debut New Releases, or Still New Releases to get:
40% OFF 1 or 50% OFF* 2 or more to get:
An EXTRA 20% OFF featured Genesis 3 items,
An EXTRA 30% OFF featured Genesis 2 items,
An EXTRA 45% OFF featured Genesis, Michael 4 & Victoria 4 items!
*
The way this reads to me is if you add a debut or still to your cart you get another 40% off, add 2 of either debut or still and get 50% AND an extra 20/30/45% off gen 3 gen 2 vic 4
What I am seeing in my cart is NO additional change at all to ANY items when I add a debut or still except the percent off the debut or still
Besides saving money on the debut and still, why add them?

I see an extra discount on the Naval Uniforms and Hongyu's Leather Dress for Victoria 7 compared to the product page in your image.
Richard: I think today's Catch Up sale page has an error in it - the bit the OP quotes (just above the list of PAs) gives the erroneous impression that if you add Debut or Still New item(s) to your cart you get a bigger discount on back catalog. The sale is actually working exactly like the last 19 days, whereby any Gen3/Gen2/Genesis items by a PA in the list attract that extra %age beyond the base 40% off participating PAs irrespective of which other items are in the cart.
Edit to clarify.
yeah but that is because it is two or more, not debut or still
You get the extra off FEATURED Gen#, Gen2, etc.
All Gen3 etc may not be featured.
ok that makes sense
Huh? I don't have an advanced degree in mathematics (she says again for the umpteenth time about these sales). I don't know how you guys keep track of all the ins and outs of this down to the penny calculations, unless you use a calculator. Even then I don't get it. I just pick what I want, throw it in the cart and pay. I guess I trust Daz to be honest. I do understand that if I buy 2 or more of the debut or still new I get 50% off, but I'm not gonna buy something just to get the extra 10% whether it be debut or still new. If I didn't like anything worth buying in the 'debut' list' from yesterday, they won't interest me the next day when they move to the 'still new' list.
All these stacking sales don't make sense the way they're worded and seem convoluted to contribute to confustion.
Sigh....There is not much incentive for buying anything this weekend. I did have about $47 bucks worth of content I was gonna buy mostly the pass weeks sale stuff i had wishlisted with the discounts offered. But after putting everything in the cart and being totally disappointed with the discount with some sales items ( Specially where the sale banner says catch up sale everything is like a new releases Ha! I say. ..The prices are just not really turning out to be worth the effort I put in this morning shopping through everything. Then add that with the hit or miss on what the dazs-pass coupon is good for or not. spending a few hours putting things in the cart to taking things out after the discount appear not to turn out as good as I thought they be after trying to stretch my buck to see what added up best to the value. I said screw it and cleared my cart, I just can't shop like that its to frustrating So I went to Venus and checked out their pre fall sale and bought some Fall clothes for myself instead for less money with a straight up 65% off sale their having . Plus I had a 20% coupon I got in my email , picked up 4 nice tops and a pair of boot cut Jeans for myself which I can wear , which turned out less than for the stuff I was going to buy at daz Now that was a sale.. go figure
Except the featured categories sections have been deleted from the ad and those selections, were based, in turn, of the daily featured artists listings wich have also been removed in favor of the whole catalog. A quick review shows that these terms clearly don't apply to the whole store, and in looking at the artists who have "debut" products in the store today, who would have certainly been included under the terms opf yesterdays ad, it seems that inclusion in the feature categories is rather hit or miss at best. The result, as the original poster noted, does come across as promising something the sale doesn't actually deliver, but it seems more the result of lazy cut and paste work than intentional deception.
