Does Daz have similar morphing tools like Poser?

The reason I consider purchasing Poser is this video What I like about it is how easy it is to add endless morphs to any figure with a single mouse drag. Unlike the painful D-force in Daz which takes a lot of time and doesn't offer the same brilliant results as seen in the video. My question is, and since I only use the free Genesis 8, are there any paid Daz characters that can be morphed like that? Thanks!

I am a little confused, not sure if you want a morphing brush, a character with lots of morphs? With D-Force maybe you mean D-Formers?

Sadly there is not a morphing brush in DAZ Studio, but it would be a much better investment to get ZBrush Core, or use Sculptris for free. Never knew if Genesis 8 works in Poser anyway.

If you want a character that morphs through dials like in the video, then you are already using Genesis 8. Basically every figure works like that. What you may be lacking are additional morphs to add that functionality. Almost all characters and monsters you see released right now in the store are for Genesis 8 Male or Female.

  • Hexagon Bridge built in plugin, Hexagon available at DAZ 3D for free

    base resolution

    send to Hexagon

use soft select or displacement brush

send to DAZ studio as morph

Thanks I meant D-formers. And what I want is a character with manual morphing, not just the pre-made ones. I want to be able to quickly and easily add morphs to create any character/creature. So I think that would be morphing brush. I will research Sculptris as others are too pricey. Thanks again

I managed to create few morphs with Hexagon before but it keeps crashing and even if it doesn't, sometimes I have to restart Hexagon for the morphs to tsnsfer. Thanks!

is this with the new 64bit beta that you need to "rebuy" for $0 and download with DIM?

    or the old Hexagon?

the latter just froze up all the time for me, the new beta seems OK
