There's a bug with this product. It is being listed as 100% off, but when I try to click the green button to put it in my cart it won't actually show up in my cart and clicking on the product page sends me to an error page. I only noticed it because it some how got bumped to the top of my wishlist.

I don't think that item is even in the store. I can't find it via search and what I do find delivers a 404 error.
I bought it a while back (2009 - wow!), so I checked my product library. There is no longer a link to a store page from the download page, sorry. Odd, because most, if not all, of the older Dystopia Destinations sets are still in the store, including the gaming pack, which is an add-on for the Hyperion Bar.
It looks like Ajax's products have all been retired. He did a lot of stuff with Moebius87 (like Dystopia City Blocks for Poser and DS) and with Noggin on insect collections (Ultimate Butterfly, Bee, Wasp, etc.). All gone.
That's sad. :(
luved the hyperion bar
i used it in chapter illustration in my novel
was perfect as a room for space station interior shots. threw a lunch party for characters
whoever managing store content doesnt haz a clue
Okay, so here's the 64 Dollar question.
Can Ajax offer the Hyperion Bar and other items of his stuff that were "pulled" here at another site?
Or, are they now in a status of "legal limbo", doomed to reappear nowhere?
Sincerely,
Bill
I'm guessing no one can answer that except Daz and the PA in question. But Team-Dystopia does have thier own website and they distribute content through multiple 3d stores.
I would contact them and see if they'd be willing to sell it to you directly. I can't say for sure, but since the bar was not a DO (if I'm remembering right), the PA would retain the rights to the model.
If the PA sold the item to Daz they could not rerelease it elswhere, if they still had the rights then of course they could (honestly, people get so hung up on the whole signing-your-name-with-blood thing).
where is this dystopian site? I would love to see what else they have

The sad irony is that most of the items listed lead back to "this place" where you will now get a "404" message.
Let's see if D*Z nukes the link as a "competitor.
Sincerely,
Bill
I wish I had fastgrabbed their kiosks
were in my cart but it was very full that day, might have chucked other stuff out instead had I only known
I did grab the Hyperian bar
Awwwww crap. Feng's noodle shop was one of theirs. Really wanted it too :(
Looks like it's still active. https://www.daz3d.com/dystopia-destinations-feng-s-noodle-shop
I think it all depends on who the actual artist(s) is. Team-Dystopia is sort of a collection of artists. Not all their stuff got pulled.
It's still available: Dystopia Destinations: Feng's Noodle Shop
really weird how the free city blocks got pulled after all these years
I added to them with a couple of the paid sets of which the Poser versions I grabbed too disappeared but not the Lightwave ones, all up have a fair few of their sets but still regret not grabbing some of what escaped
Moebius87 did the Lightwave version of the Dystopia City Blocks alone, but the Poser version was co-produced with Ajax and billy home. If one of the artists in a co-production gets culled or withdraws, one of three things can happen. The other partners buy out the share, or Daz buys out the share, or, failing that, it disappears from the store. Both Ajax and billy home got the axe, so, well, you see the result.
Weird, I was getting a 404 from every link to that product until now.
I've always said Daz's servers have a mind of their own. One of these years, the PA sale is going to become self aware. That'll be the start of Skynet. I can only hope loyal Daz customers will be put in the light labor camps. Hang on a sec, I'm told I'm being logged out...
And this morning when I tried to access Team-Dystopia, I get a page claiming the domain has expired.
Sincerely,
Bill
Oh no. I just looked at it last night and while their front page looks like it hasn't been updated in a number of years, there were recent posts on their forums so I am really hoping they move their stuff to their own site at least
I still had a few items from the dystopia set in my wish list. I'm really bumbed that Daz gave them the ax.
Weird...
Must have been a "burp" because the site and its forum is accessible once more.
Sincerely,
Bill
I believe team dystopia may be gone moebius87( his site) has been M.I.A for some time and rg5a and nightshift were talking there about it probably getting shutdown, seemed like only 4 or 5 of us were active there most of the members gradually faded away.
As Meskdavi said, there have been only a handful of regular forumers over there lately and Moe has been MIA for years. It looks like he finally stopped paying hosting fees which isn't surprising. There's nothing barring the deleted products from being sold elsewhere but it probably won't happen since the vendors involved have been inactive for years.
