"The King's Son" crown?

In the new Kings son I didn't see any references to the crown this king is wearing in the promotional material in the product notes... Where is the crown?  Can't be much of a king without a nice crown...

So if the son wants the crown, he going to have to take it! /storymode

I created this crown specifically for "The King Son" Promos but you can use King George' Crown with "The king Son". (fit is included)

A prince would wear a coronet rather than a crown,  unless he has been officially promoted to heir apparent (ie The Crown Prince).    Mind you "King" George is wearing a coronet rather than a crown according to the British heraldry system, unless he is from a historical era prior to Henry IV

I have both in my cart.  I wanna ask you DeepSea ... what program do you use to make your body hair?  I love how it flows realistically on the arms, legs and hands.  Fibermesh in ZBrush is what I'm playing with but boy it's really tedious to get things "flowing" naturally ... .like nearly impossible.  The brushes they give you to use are just too strong in my most cases.  BRAVO on your releases.

Body hair of "King George" as been made as 2D layer with The Foundry "MARI". I paint and project each hair on George Body. It's very long and very tedious but it's a only way to make naturally hair on a fat body of George. The huge advantage in terms of fibermesh is a simple texture and allows you to manipulate and animate the character without slowing down.

I create a solid specular and bump map for the render. That's all.

WOW.. so those are panel planes or did you use a "second skin" then?   Fascinating!

I use original George texture Skin as base to paint hair. I create hair layer with mask in Mari and apply it on base texture skin. To create a good bump invert hair layer. Hair become white and with that you have a good bump for the render. For this release I reworked all the skin shader and texture of George for Genesis 8 Male. The Torso body skin has been made now in 8192 x8192. The hair body are very detail with this size.

It's a wonderful pair of characters. I'm hoping that they will convert to 3DL acceptably. The skin probably will. But I've had poor results from hair.

I want to know where the King's Son's armor is from, I'm drawing a blank when looking at it and it looks awesome.

Indeed. the main difference between a crown and a coronet is that a crown will have aches in its form, whereas a coronet does not..  taking it further, a coronet will encircle the head whereas a tiara will not...

Why a cornet?  He'd look mighty silly with a small trumpet on his head. frown

  • a Cornetto would look sillier
