Can anyone get onto the Site That Cannot Be Mentioned?
I was able to get on earlier this morning, but can no longer access it, and was wondering if anyone else read having the same issue.

If you mean the one that begins with H, it's working fine for me.
What site is it that can't be mentioned? or are we supposed to be playing guessing games. Even Renderotica is allowed to be mentioned, although no links to that one please, just mentions. Other sites can be linked to if under certain circumstances even. We have threads about sites like Poser Direct and Poser Pros closing down as well. Oh and BTW Renderosity is fine for me, but I use a direct link to the Bryce forum, so not sure about the front page.
Same here, I can't get to Renderotica either. All I get is a webpage that says "This domain was recently registered at Namecheap. Please check back later!" I hope the domain did not get hijacked since the owner recently passed away. I hope it is just a registration glitch when they re-registered the domain.
CGbytes site is still online, you should discuss about it there, the team may answer to your questions.
I do not know if this is true or not. But was told a few days ago that renderotica.com is going to go through some update changes and make it less accessible to the general public viewing. with age verifying & etc. I'm not sure when it will be live again they never said how long it be down. the sister site to renderotica . renderotiqueDotcom is still open you must verify age before entry be a allowed to view it.

The site was down yesterday but seems to be working OK a few minutes ago.....
Most of the time when a site is not available in a specific part of the world it's the routing from there to the site, and not the site. There are numerous "up or down for me?" sites where they will check access of a URL you enter.
I think the owner of CGBytes prepared for his passing by setting up a business plan for his family and workers. I donj't think the site is going anywhere, at least not soon. I know several of Daz's vendors also sell (different product) there.
The site was down for me (in the Eastern US) for pretty much the whole day, but looking at the gallery posts, there don't seem to be any big gaps, so I guess it wasn't down for everyone.

I don't think there are any sites that can't be mentioned, unsolicited links to competing sites are removed but I have seen promo adverts for other sites left alone so honestly there does seem to be some lenancy.
