    well daz bought out Alessandro_AM's  new gorilla (with baby) a while ago so I'm hoping that'll get released during this sale been hanging out for that for ages No automatic alt text available.

    My biggest struggle with these sales often does come as a result of the unique daily offers. For example: I want and plan on getting the Parfum bottles, and the Bishop House. If I do it today, I can get a free vehicle. Hm. I'm 'meh' on vehicles. If I wait until tomorrow, I might get an offer that appeals to me more (but nothing I want to purchase to justify it) -- or it might be an offer where I already have everything available, like the Morph packages, or something I'm even less likely to use than vehicles.

    So I spend today going, "Hmmm...." and... unfortunately for PAs, sometimes tomorrow's offer is terrible for me, and so is the one the day after and then stuff I wanted to buy starts dropping off the list and then when the Catchup Sale comes around, I've got to choose two of like six items I originally wanted to get....

    And oh dear, it's still not September yet either.

    I was thinking to myself 'pumpkins, I didn't see no pumpkins" then I checked the fastgrab and low and behold, 4 more items in my wishlist, what a great content day, LOL.

    Fastgrab is really good now. There are some other items in there, too, that rarely get this big discount.

    You might think this was a simple sale formula. I find such things extremely confusing. Outside of the complexity is the whole principle of DAZ PA names. I rarely remember the names of any PA artists. I only remember two: Maclean and Stonemason. I don't want to overburden my mind with more names. I went through the ad, clicked on the "symbol" for each PA. I found that procedure quite overwhelming. I totally respect all the PAs, but didn't find anything of interest to me. I concentrate on what I use, what I want. I don't concentrate on the PAs names.

    As for aniMATE, I've had a license for many years, and never learned how to use it. I haven't seen much talk about it. And now they have a new version? I've already spent too much money on DAZ-related software that I'll never learn to lose. (The recent inexpensive purchase of Carrara 8.5 Pro is an example. I've already given up on it, again, or still!)

    Regarding the catch-up sales - do they have the same pricing as the initial date sale?

    i.e There was a single product I considered purchasing at the beginning of the week that was new/on sale but there was not a second that I wanted to pair it with for the better discount.  Today's sale has a single product I would be interested in purchasing, but the product from the beginning of the week is no longer amongst those to pair up for the better discount.

    If not, I am a shopper that is willing to wait - especially when I don't have a project that needs the new products.  They will stay on the wishlist until another time.

    They might be the same or it might be 45% instead of 50 for more than one - no way to tell really. There's always another sale anyway LOL

    If you are willing to wait, everything goes back on sale during catch up sales, usually at the same amount and if you wait longer, the discount may be even better. Most products go to 60% off or better at some point and even lower, although purchasing a trigger higher priced item may be necessary for the deepest discounts or even freebies.

    So far, I only made a purchase the first day when three new freebies were offered. I have added a ton of stuff to my wishlist though. Still not finding an incentive to buy anything immediately...

    The biggest interesting quirk I'm noting in this sale is a pattern of items that are FREE with 2 purchases one day and 70% OFF with 1 purchase the next. I think I approve? Not that I've taken advantage of either instance yet.

    I may have received a reduced price on a couple items as part of a deal. I get so confused, and often just ignore the confusing sales. I want to thank the PAs for being part of some sales. I know you get a reduced commission. I just hope you end up getting some sort of bonus, in the form of increased sales or something.

    Haven't bought anything yet... I had already spent too much money in August, so making me spend more would have needed more incentive... and today hadn't anything interesting for me to start on my September budget... some other shop on the other hand.. *sighs* 50% off $ 12.- with no strings attached is a lot more tempting than "50% off $ 24.- when you buy an product that costs at least $ 10.- that you don't really need and wouldn't buy if it were'nt for the discount...."

    I forgot to add the Perfume bottle to my basket when I bought the Leony Bundle (Doh) I've been meaning to contact customer service, but I'm too embarrassed to do it. 

    Does anyone know if there are catch up weekends for the Premier Artist Sale? I've missed out on quite a few items that I would've liked. :(

    There are usually several catchup sales but the "freebie' offers may not be included in the catchup sales.

    N_R Arts, don't worry about being embarassed. A few weeks ago I made an even worse mistake. I contacted Customer Service and they were very nice. I wouldn't blame them if they laughed at me! (I've stopped worrying about "looking silly," decades ago. It's part of my charm?!)laugh

    So far nothing grabs much, seems kind of the same as other sales. Lots of nice content if you render females. A few good deals for the men sprinkled throughout, but I don't see these sales as being anything more than the usual. The highlight for me was the clothing converter.

    There was a huge abandoned mansion set on sale for a ridiculously low price on Wednesday. It was back to normal price before I got around to it, though. Me = sad.

    They nearly got me yesterday with the Lorez Cat & Rat Bundle but none of the items needed as a buy-in was worth it for me... I knowit's just me, but to me it feels as if the sweetest deals always come with stuff that doesn't interest me a bit as buy-in. And with a limited budget that is a no-go. Add to that, none of the things that DID interest me were "must have" items, just "would be nice to have them, when they come up cheap enough"

    So yeah, it's "March slightly weirdness" all over for me...

    Well I think this sale runs til October so I will have to wait to see in Guy 8 Pro Bundle comes out as i don't want to spend my DAZ dollars on anything else until I buy that. Of the 'newish' products I'd be buying Skin Builder 8, X-Morphs, and Dolb were it not for my wait for Guy 8 release. I think those are all PA products so maybe I'll be able to afford one or more of them at the last catch-up sale at the end of the PA sale.
