As tittle says.

I'm willing to pay in 200¬300 pounds to anyone who can provide me with a step by step tutorial on how to convert an animated Unreal Engine 4 Mannequin FBX Export and re-target its animation to Daz3D's Genesis 8 figure, be it via HumanIK or ART, whichever works best.

Obviously I would also want to be able to export said re-targeted animation on Genesis 8 back to Daz3D so I could make aniblocks out of it.

For anyone willing I'm providing a Genesis 8 FBX Export as well as UE4 Animation FBX in the link below:

Basically I'm expecting video similar to this, except instead of UE4 it should be Maya or Daz3D:

You cannot share any part of the genesis 8 product with anyone, it's against the EULA. So if that link contains an FBX export of genesis 8, you should delete it.

I have not tried it in a game engine like UE or cryengine.. I just concetrate on animating within daz studio  but have you tried using MDD for animate2 motions files instead of FXB to export your motions files , or try saving or exorting your motions or aniblocks file as a BVH motion file for genesis8 which could be imported into blender or in Maya. I don't work with game engines so I could be wrong.  but I think most game engines & 3rd party animations software will accept BHV motions files which daz will export bvh files. I would try that first it maysave you a few bucks

I know it's motion builder instead of Maya, but this might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=6&v=j5E5DU8O6ho it shows how to convert your FBX exported animations over to Genesis 8.  I am also pretty sure that you can get a free trial of motion builder.

You got it all wrong. I dont want Daz3D animations out of Daz. I want UE4 animations into Daz3D after re-targeting.

I'm sorry , My Bad .   I thought you wanted to import your daz animation into UE.. ..,. Doing it the other way around is Not Possiable.  Daz only accepts import motions files that are BHV, Aniblock or  PZ3 or DUF scripted.   you can import motions into daz from MDD with some work retargeting the bones (s not worth it). or import motion into daz as a BHV motions file baking it and then resaving it as a aniblock. , other -wise I never had or know anyone that has any luck importing motions into daz Studio as FXB that would be something i would would be willing to pay for to learn as well.

Managed to find a tutor who helped me out and gave a sample as proof of concept.
