Basic Rule:
Buy any combination of Debut New Releases, Still New Releases, Featured Artists, or Featured Special Items to get: 40% OFF 1 or 50% OFF* 2 or more
While sales shift yearly, there are likely to be 1-3 'Catch-Up Weekends' where most previous deals return and all PAs are on sale. So if you missed something, there's a good chance it'll be around again.
Day 1: Welcome to the Wastelands. Three new items potentially available for free with Debut.
Day 2: Tune Up Your Shapes. Yesterday's free items now available at 70% off. There are also previous-generation Morph products available at 90% off. Both with Debut/Still New. If you already have all of those, the section is blank.
Day 3: New Wet & Dry Bundle.Get Victoria 8 for FREE (If you buy the Leony bundle) & 80% OFF* aniMate2 (if you buy any Debut/Still New). There's an apparently unsatisfying? offer for perfume bottles if you already own Victoria 8, but I don't. There's also a Mega Fast Grab that offers recently acquired Daz Originals for 70% off if you buy a new release, and 50% (66% for PC+) alone.
Day 4: And You Win... A Free Car! Get a select Daz Original Land vehicle FREE (with 2 Debut/Still New/Featured PA items). You can still get aniMate2 for 70% off with a Debut/Still New. If you do buy something Debut/Still New today, you can get certain Genesis 3 Bundle for 75% off (83% off if you're in PC+). $24 Pro Bundles aren't the cheapest I've seen them but if you're in the market for one right now, it's worth a look.
Day 5: Fluidos Plugin and Clothing Converter The previous day's free vehicles now available for 70% off with a single Debut/Still New/Featured PA. I'm sensing a trend. aniMate2 still on sale as before. There's been an ongoing Additional Featured Artist Catalog Savings sale I haven't mentioned yet, with an extra 20%/30%/45% off PA Catalog products based on how old they are. This stacks with other PA Sale discounts so can be nice if you want older stuff. (Genesis 3 stuff ends up at 60% off if you're buying something else in the Sale.) Notable in the Featured Specials: FaceGen Artist Pro, where a 50% discount means a lot (but it's been cheaper in the past 4 months).
Day 6: A Little Trash Polka Welcome to September. Today you can get a trash-related freebie (or very-cheapie) alongside any Debut/Still New. Charlotte's the theme of the Featured Specials, but her deal isn't particularly notable in the grand scheme of PA Sale. That's.... about it for today.
Day 7: Hair Shaders and Top Sellers I noted the new releases today but I was head-down in a game jam, so if anybody wants to refresh me on this, I'd appreciate it.
Day 8: One Day Labor Day MegaSale Our first catchup sale, not headlined as such. A gift card sale with discounts ranging from 4% at < $50 to 20% at > $250. No new releases (or rather, yesterday's are still 'debut') and everything on sale so far has returned to the sale at the standard rate of 40% for 1/50% for 2.
Day 9: LaTonya 8 A nice bundle release with the standard 40/50% plus new bundle incentives (if you don't already have them). With two add-ons (and PC+), LaTonya 8 Pro comes to around $33, and you can get two free Genesis 3 bundles. Aimed at the newer customer, but nice all the same.
Day 10: Luca by Thorne Other than a new set of Debuts, today is exactly like yesterday.
Day 11: New Wet Tanned and Sweaty Skins Still basically the LaTonya sale, echoing the deals of the previous two days. Possibly the only day when you have to buy a Still New release rather than a Debut to get the best Special Deal.
Day 12: Welcome Eichhorn Art Buy one of the 2 new Eichhorn Art new releases, along with another Debut/Still New/Featured PA/Featured Special, and get a free Daz Original animal. The Featured Special items are the LaTonya items.
Day 12: Faveral and Deepsea Get Medieval 70% off the Daz Dragon 3 with a Debut; get a free animal the same way as yesterday but with 4 EA characters on offer instead of 2. LaTonya remains the Featured Special..
Day 13: Cyber-Enhancements Get 70% off any Featured robot and cyborg items with a Debut purchase. Genesis 2 bundles have joined the LaTonya stuff in Featured Specials.
Day 14: Genesis 8 Flashback An additional 20% off Genesis 8 Pro bundles in Featured Special Items. More robots with a Debut.
Day 15: A Variety That Will Bring You To Tears Today, save for the Debuts, is a repeat of yesterday, despite the 'Today Only' tag both days. One note: Buying something one week seems to entitle you to 10% extra off on Debuts the week after.
Day 16: Nothing Like A Country Sale Get the Daz Horse 2 free, and 80% off other Horse stuff, both w/ a Debut or Still New Release. Featured Specials are a bit of a grab-bag this time around.

So far the structure seems pretty familiar. If we're going to revisit the Genesis 8 Pro Bundles released last year, I'm interested. I resisted some of the early male bundles because they didn't grab me and I assumed there would be other options later.
I'm also excited about the new Randomizer.
i need nothing from anybody, but if something catches my eye, I might buy it maybe.
Same here. I am all about new items that might show up. I can justify the lower discount if it's a new item that fits what I need for my workflow more than I can a bunch of similar items we all ready have in the store. I don't need (or want) any more V4, M4, G1 or G2 items as incentives, that has been played out already in previous sales and I find using the ones I have already more work than not.
In preparation for the PA sale, I organized my wishlist into two main categories: "stuff I need in the near future" and "stuff I will only get if the discount is insanely huge." :))))
At least there's no punchcard promotion. Nobody enjoyed those. Even though it you played along you got a better discount to the end of the sale.
There are a couple of things that I've seen previews of over in the commercial threads that I'm waiting for, but otherwise I'm checking out the new releases. The back catalogues aren't that big of a draw after you've been hanging around for close to a decade, but various things do catch the eye.
Now if I could only see more things which include 3DL I'd be very happy.
OMG, I had forgotten about those. I guess my brain repressed it because it was such an unpleasant memory. I never did figure out what I was supposed to be doing with those 'punches' or whatever. I just gave up after awhile and stayed away from the site.
I did enjoy the "new mini-sale every few hours for 24 hours" sale. That was tedious, but fun.
same here.
Do you plan on keeping a running list of the offers, dreamfarmer? Some might find it useful.
I am in same situation as several here; I have my wishlist of jump on products, I don't have a need or desire for more M4, V4, G1, G2, and not said, but fits my case, I check the current prices against what DazDeals show for the last year. My content volume vs what has actually been used is quite unbalanced, so I am not in any dire need to spend on something that doesn't tinkle my fancy.
I need to go look for items that just came off NEW status or may come off in the next couple of days.
Whenever new content comes out, almost every day throughout the year now, I check everything out and put hearts on anything I'd consider buying so when a big discount comes along, I know exactly what to pick from and what to ignore. But sometimes i find things I was not into at the time but now want. Really I just want everything in the store though. I could find a use for pretty much anything LOL.
I'm going to do my best, yes. If I seem likely to miss a day, transcribing them in line would help me update accurately if I fall behind, though.
You can also use the wayback machine to capture a snapshot of the daily sales. Here's a sample: https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://www.daz3d.com/2018-premiere-artist-festival
It may not work properly to display the dynamic list of items which are refreshed regularly but the text part of the sale and static offers should still get captured to an appreciable extent.
Not that I am going to miss any of these sales with their current offerings but if someone'e keeping tab then this might be easier.
Is "Buy more, save less" the new Daz motto? Today's offer for Victoria 8 owners was downright insulting: a free $6 set of bottles in lieu of a free $18 model? I'll pass.
I was wondering the same thing. I let my PC+ expire last year to save money. Then I renewed it at the start of this sale, hoping to buy some of the stuff I've been missing out on. But so far, I haven't really seen anything I want. None of the stuff on my wishlist is on sale, aside from the usual PC+ discounts. I'm not even trying to get Victoria 8, I just want some deeper discounts on Gen 3 stuff.
Oh, but you have to buy something else to get it.
Insulting? It's an offer. You either like the offer or you don't.
And it's cool to have the option, rather than 'we are offering this free thing with the sale item, but if you have it already OH WELL.'
I see your point, and it makes sense, but if there was no offer, it would have been less insulting. I've been there before on many sales and have never complained about it. For instance, I've already got Animate2, and I'm not complaining about the 80% off deal on that. What galls me is that Daz made me excited with the snazzy green banner, made it sound like something great (one day only!) and then I find out that they are essentially penalizing V8 owners for buying that product. If the offer was anywhere near the discount offered for everyone else, I wouldn't have even bothered to mention it. It's more a psychology thing than a mathematics thing.
I would have liked the $6.28 off the purchase price of the character bundle for owning Victoria8. The perfume bottles are very nice looking but just not something I want.
Same here, but I do appreciate the gesture DAZ!
I am not usually tempted by any of the Raiya/ OOT bundles, but I freakin love this one
A good sale starts at 70% off, so nothing to see yet.
Yah, not seeing anything that exciting so far. I bought something on day one and returned it on day two after discovering it was a major resource hog. Other than that, nothing.
The PA sales so far been a good opportunity for me to get things off my wishlist i had on there for a while. I had the v8 character for a while. even though the perfume bottle offer was not what enticed me to buy the wet & dry bundle I'll use them somewhere in the future i am sure.. .. I was just going to get the wet dry pony tail. but thought the whole wet dry bundle looked awesome so i got it . I even picked up the extra clothing texture packs as well. it kind of has a tomb raider look to the set. :)
LOL, not according to the PAs.
I guess that's why Daz is doing it instead (with Mega FastGrab).
Just to be clear, the alternative offer for V8 owners is the $6 perfume bottles from Valandar? I love those bottles and I don't have Victoria 8, and I can't get her by buying those bottles, so I'm sad!
would be more tempted if i didnt need to buy a new release
Loving the new releases but unfortunately they are all going to my wishlist for better sales. These sales are not as good as many daily and flash sales. I have so much content I haven't used yet, so these can wait. I do really like all the new releases, just can't afford them at current prices...
Also I think Daz killed it for the PAs by having a huge mega sale on their own Daz Originals right before the PA festival. I spent my whole gift card store credit then. It was a great sale but now I can't afford much at all during the PA sale. They should have done their own sale AFTER the PA sale if they want to keep their PAs happy...
Might be interested in base actor for same reason: knock-off 'Lara Croft Anarchist' fun.
This promo shot might be throwing me off along with description.
What's a 'LIE Dirty Skin Overlay Preset' ?
Can I use it on existing V8 based character or would it mess up the skin/face?
Example: Skin & face might be based on Lizzy or Becky (forget which) + Super Eyebrows. Apply dirt layer from Leony. That would change base skin & face ?
Leony for $12 plus a way of making them look like something the cat dragged definitely useful. Depending on setting, characters look too clean in some of my renders. Need to explore the 'grunge' option. ;-)
thanks for reading

Lie is a texture overlay that creates dirt texture for the skin. and yes its made for genesis 8 works great for g8
This is a quicky render i did from this bundle . I added some guns for effect using a old stonemason sewer prop for back drop using native daz iray lighting.
