Stitch Witch

I have this program. I always liked it. I just installed it on my Windows 8.1 computer. It runs fine, but the textures are missing.

I have a folder with three zip files:

SWfull1049
SWfull10039
SWfull10027

I installed Release 1049 which I assume to be the latest version that I had. But then I thought perhaps I needed to install the earlier versions first. But when I checked them, they are all about the same size so I don't think that matters. (Or maybe I have more files that I haven't found yet.

I originally bought this when it was selling at PhilC, so I can't re-download it from DAZ (who sells it now).

I do have an email from PhilC where he says that Kamilche wanted us Stitch Witch customers to know there was a new update.

I was surprised that the link in it still worked. I was able to download SW10041. But it is the same size as the others. The file was called SWfull, but I added the release numbers, so I must have done that was the others.

Maybe the textures are on my pc, but I just can find them. I looked in the document folders, public and private, the program folder, the C drive.

Anybody know if the textures were a separate file that you had to install...a file that I haven't found yet?

Thanks

You should have another zip file titled sewingpack1.zip that contains the textures iirc. Happy texturing!

If you bought it at Daz it will still be in your product library here: https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files#prod_8201

I tested it in the forum years ago and that's how I got my copy, but I've recently reformatted and have no idea where to find any of the files now.  I forgot the name of the guy who was running the thread, but I "knew" him.

    Any help?

Gosh, not thought about this for years. I wonder where my copy is.

You probably mean Richard aka PagenEagle. He had a long thread about it; but he hasn't been around for years

The program itself was developed by Kamilche Consulting and Wyndwalker

The zip file name for the version I have is sw_1_0_041 for the program and StitchWitch_sewingpack1 for the sample textures.

Hope this helps you find it.

A blast from the past. I bought this program on Halloween in 2008 when it was sold at PhilC's site. It was really handy for texturing. I wouldn't even begin to know where my copy is now.
