Minbari (Babylon 5) head crests?
in The Commons
I found a set for male and female figures some time back but I can't seem to figure out where, does anyone have a clue? I'm trying to find them so I can send the link to a friend.

i remember those! if anyone finds the link, that would be great :)
The head crests were made by Digital I and I don't think they are available any more. I tracked down this page that I think is the creator with contact info if you want to email them.

Thank you seeker273, I sent him off an email begging him to post the crests to ShareCG or someplace since they were freebies. With luck he answers. Here's a little render I did a while back with a couple of Bab5 blasters and an Aiko3 Minbari girl: https://www.deviantart.com/wickedprince/art/Star-Pirates-Aikiyu-540407540 It would be nice to get those back again. I've mucked around with a variety of ideas using them. :)
Hmmmm.... the link breaks, somehow an extra bit of glop gets added onto the URL after the ...7540 part, with that removed, the 404 goes away and I see the lady in the docking bay. :D
Cute story, btw. :D
Thanks. I was trying to come up with as many aliens as I could using Aiko3 and all the stuff I've accumulated and I figured it'd be fun to tie them all together through a story. I kind of like mashups where characters from completely different genre's and stories are tossed together to work together. I was actually thinking of taking a version of Ahura and making her captain of the Fubar's crew. Have her take all the leadership lessons she got to watch Captain Kirk use and apply them to this new situation. :D
Ah, looks like I got my follow-up comment after the link got too close to the link and the link got confused, it SEEMS to work now.

seeker273 Cool, but I don't see the head crests, which is what I was looking for specifically. Did I miss it in the list?
BTW: I opened my zip of the files, the readme was dated for 2002. I'm betting that the "we're going to return" is probably nearly as old as if you try to google the link it says the site is for sale.
