I went to download something today, and I noticed something called "Public Beta Content 1 DS" in the product section. I don't use Beta. Does anybody know what this is, and if I should let it download or not?

It is the current Beta version of Studio. It can be installed in parallel with the release version without causing issues with your content.
It is however Beta so bugs should be expected. There have been a number in the available beta.
You are the only one who can decide if you should download it.
